my mom comes home after a tiring work(well,not really;all she's gotta do is answer emails from some foundation director and she's on FB EVERYDAY><),but we try to watch an episode of a drama or a movie every now and then.
if yer still motivated to recruit them to dramaland you can try to download some dramas that you think would interest them.like the WHOLE series so they can just plug and play in your TV^^
[instead of watching yer local dramas,let them watch this--and how about...you try playing it in your TV,i bet it would make them peek and interest them.MUWAHAHHAHA!]
btw,what kind of genres do you think interests them?;see,me and my fam always try to watch together so i always look for the RIGHT drama--period dramas interested them,so we try to look for one^^ but if you think they just watch TV for some news updates,then their sched. must be really hectic><
