It's been 3 years, they only saw her dead body. They really saw her when the body got burned. And her appearance was quiet different. The only one who can recognize her is Park Jin but he still hasn't seen her. And Jinmu literally "raised" her. It was normal for him to be the first one to remember her.
She is the actress who played the original Naksu before the soul shifting in part 1 episode 1. So she is in her actual body now, lost her memories and Lady Jin made her think herself as Jin Buyeon. But Jinmu knows she is Naksu.
I wish the writers made this Naksu have more of the personality of the original one.
She still have personality and a lot of common things between the original one but she doesn't have any memories and power and was literally prisoned for 3 years. Like... What do you expect?
Actually, to me, the reason why Buyeon died and Naksu lived made sense. But there is two things for now that I can't choose.
1) Yeong\Naksu is more powerful than Buyeon. And that was why Buyeon had to cling to her energy before dying. 2) Yeong's power comes from water as it was implied so many times. That was why her energy was still there even tho the body was petrified.

I loved the amnesia plot. It helped build Uk and Yeong's chemistry without forcing and gave them a new chance to explore their characters, not only their relationship. Tbh I liked watching Yeong like that. What could have been if her family wasn't destroyed and she wasn't deceived when she was just a child? They already confirmed that this season is going to be fast-paced and the teasers are only showing about the first 4-5 episodes.
