It’s not Aimi’s talent that’s the issue here, because she has plenty. And the problem isn’t her getting a lead role either. The problem is casting her as the only minor in a romance where her love interest is more than 10 years older! They keep giving Aimi roles that don’t match her age, they’re literally adultifying a 16-year-old girl instead of putting her in teenage roles. Normalizing that kind of casting is dangerous because it sends the message that a relationship between an adult and a minor is okay, and it’s honestly disturbing. Aimi is beautiful, young, talented and incredibly promising. There’s no reason to put her in this situation. And as fans, we should care about her well-being too. She deserves age-appropriate roles and time to focus on school, something her agency seems to be neglecting (and please correct me if that info is wrong). In the end, Aimi and Minghao deserve better. The ones who cast them together in this drama are the greedy and disgusting ones.
