Title TharnType
Life is also horrible to live. All those things that you list are reality, and facts. I am gay and I like it when…
Tbh I really like the show. I think that it gives a glimpse of reality. I know that sensitive topics such as the ones you've listed are hard to watch, bit this is something that happens in real life toward the people of the LGBTQ community. Having a series that is squeaky clean doesn't have an interesting plot or ways to have character development because the character is already perfect. Even though Type is homophobic, femphobic etc. like you said in the beginning of the series, the trauma of his past have also affected the way he treated the people around him. We also get to see how when Tharn came into his life that it positively affected the way he see people around him and the LGBTQ community. I would disagree with you when you stated that the series has weak character development. Maybe because you're not watching the 2nd season, but Type's character really has developed over the past 7-8 years during his relationship with Tharn. The series reflects situations that really does happen in real life. If you think that watching a series the touch on topics such as these are hard to watch and uncomfortable, then you really are not ready to face the cruel reality of our world.
