If you still hate the fl's character after watching this episode then there must be a problem with your thinking. Those…
I agree completely. There is something called rebound love that happens after a break up...one is so desperate to move on and get over the previous relation that the person jumps at the earliest opportunity...but only realize it was wrong. It's complicated and people who hv not loved deeply and lost would not understand. And having a relationship doesn't mean the person is sleeping together as well. We assume that but often that's not real.
Wowza!!!Ep 13 is so moving! All the pieces of their backstories are coming together. It’s so rich. The deep…
Yes I agree...they hv done a brilliant job. I'm sure the writer and director would be very happy with the outcome. It's not easy to portray such complex emotions...no wonder they selected the cast carefully! Even the two sisters are amazing and little girl too. I love them all.
People need to really stop their BS logic of how some people hate the FL or the ML.The hate is NOT on these characters,…
There is nothing wrong with what the writers have written. They have a brilliant job, the have given us thoughts and lines to remember for life. I am loving the characters and the story. Perhaps it's just not to your taste. Yong Pil is a character I've seen in my life...there are people who love once and never love again. He didn't hv other relations as he didn't want to. He didn't even think Sam dal would return. His love for her was enough to last him a lifetime.
The acting is just so good. EP 13 really reminded me why I was waiting eagerly for this drama. All my fav actors…
About the mother part and sisters not helping in house chores, I think the mother is too stubborn to let anyone do anything in her household. And about Sang-do, I've seen guys like him in reality...in my country there is famous literally character who drinks himself to death for he could not get his love interest. I have a relative, who has gotten into clinical depression bcos he couldn't get the girl he loved, it's destroying his own family life. But that's how some people are, and the character of Sang-do is very real. There are people who just cannot move on.
I kind of noticed something today in this episode and it made me realize they do this a lot in kdramas its always…
It seems to me that you didn't understand their relationship and the story. I find nothing wrong in the depiction of Cho Sam dal's character. It's very realistic...I also don't think the plot is trying to portray that Yong Pil is a better guy..that's just how he is.
Episode 13 .... Wow!! The acting of the leads and their respective mother and father, deserves a bow. Also, kudos to the writer and director who could deliver such a beautiful story in such a delicate way...just as it demands and deserves. That poem towards the end was a cherry on top - summarizes their feelings and situation perfectly. And the last scene... didn't need words... they both knew what it was and we knew it too... silence spoke out loud. This episode had me crying so much...and made my heart ache.
Sound of Magic is the drama where I saw JCW for the first time and then magic happened .. he cast his spell and I'm under his spell ever since. I absolutely loved Sound of Magic and the songs too where he sang most of them. There couldn't hv been a better magician. After this drama, I ended up watching almost all of his dramas, old and new. All I can say that he is a brilliant actor. I've not seen any other actor playing such diverse characters. I love actors who challenge themselves, take up different roles, experiment with different genres and I think he likes to be that actor. Instead of being stuck in one genre (action), he has been trying different ones... Warrior, emperor, lawyer, thief, bodyguard, police, store manager, architect, weather forecaster...you name it and he has done those roles. True actors, dedicated and passionate, love to try everything. I'm so glad I found JCW. He is a complete actor...he deserves much more love, recognition and awards than he gets. In Worst of Evil he was exceptional and in Welcome to Samdalri, he plays a character soooo different and yet he does a great job. Would look forward to more diverse roles from JCW.
One thing I really hate about kdramas is all the drinking. It’s pretty pathetic how the 3 sisters and now especially…
Koreans do have a drinking culture. It's portrayed in many many dramas. Also, Sam dal is heart broken and cannot control her emotions..she is a flawed character so she is shown drinking...but drinking alcohol is not glorified here. It's just their way to cope with stress...like many people around the world do. Perhaps by the end, they will not drink anymore. We'll hv to wait and see.
I usually love this kind of story, especially that it's about a buisness woman! i really liked how she is going…
It's a great way of narrating the story... situation wise, what they are going through at the moment, the flash backs are used. They are crucial in revealing the story and background. This storyline is not linear, so flash backs are required. I'm loving this technique.
I don't understand why she's not fighting back. I am tired of watching losers every episode so far. Might drop…
How many episodes have you watched? This isn't a crime Revenge action drama. It is about relations, friendship, unconditional love, and finding your way back after losing everything. If you drop it it's your choice...but it's a healing romantic drama, so if it's not your genre please don't continue.
So far im on ep 4 and the drama is just okay. Lowkey underwhelming. The reason she came back to her hometown is…
You think the romance is lacking something? Then perhaps you are not giving enough attention. Don't forget, they are ex-lovers..so their romance is not supposed to be exciting and hot...the portrayal is just perfect. Also, this isn't a revenge story. She is taking a break and recuperating. There are still so many episodes to go. I'm sure everything will come together. She first needs to find her real self. I'm absolutely loving it from episode 1. I hope you like it too.
Yeah, I want 10 seasons of this drama like ‘friends’ lol. I am already sad that this drama will end in 4 weeks.…
Same here. He is the character that perhaps most women would want in their lives...he is that someone who is strongly rooted and is always there for his love no matter how far she is. He is willing to get hurt to save her from pain. The character is just tooo Lovable. And JCW is doing exactly what the character requires.
People were complaining because its ep8 already... We shouldnt wait till ep8 to get main character's story. Wookie…
Nope from the very beginning they made it clear that Young oil would be a small stream and also told Sam dal and his mom that they are his dream and if their dreams are fulfilled, his will too. The build up of the story is very beautiful..I like the fact that it's not hurried and is a bit laid back like the setting of a small coastal town.
The quicker you accept that her career being destroyed was a plot device to get her back home and not the actual…
The drama isn't over yet. Dreams are broken and people do take time to recover. Crying is a part of the recovery process. And there's nothing wrong in going back to one's hometown and to one's parents when the going gets tough.
