Ziye has been in the entertainment industry only for 4 years. A young talent with short history as an actor. He is only in middle school now yet currently he is the only child actor that got a major supporting role with a loyal fanbase and huge followers. His talent is overwhelming yet the company can’t keep up with it because he is… underage. They can’t give him team. They can’t give him studio. They can’t let him join live show or variety show because he is..underage.
He may have no team, no studio, no one to back him up when his character got rejection and slandered, but the fans are there, the rational passerby are there to praise his acting. It’s just.. he is so mature in his acting that people forgot he is still a child.
He is a child actor, yet he is not on the same track as them. Other child stars are treated as a child and often forgotten. While ziye is treated almost the same with an adult actor. His character got discussed, got praised, got slandered, viewers always expecting more of him. He is already on the level where his existence can’t be forgotten when he got a major role. Unfortunately he is still a child. He got a charisma of an adult yet he can’t be on their track, while he is also not fit on the child actor track. A very difficult position. People often confuse on how to treat him. In China his fanbase is still hiding and restrain itself because he is still underage. His fanbase internationally is still small, compared to his seniors’. Some passerby will scold him just because he looks like he has skipped school for acting without knowing his hard-work in study where he always study on filming site, on car, on plane, everywhere he could. he got high score in school even a first rank in one of the subjects..
I hope he doesn’t give up on acting. At least keep it up 5 more years, until he is 18 years old or just take a break if he feels tired or overwhelmed. Just don’t give up, because we can see a bright path for him in the future.
