Everyone is entitled to their opinion on this matter, but dang some of yall were so quick to speak about the show’s cancellation. maybe it’s a defense mechanism idrc because I’m more hurt by how quick some of the folks here were to dismiss the show. at least if yalls prophecy is fulfilled you can say you were right.
Nothing says I love you more than giving your sister an ultimatum. I am sorry Oom, but May is not responsible…
agree to disagree. I thought ep 11 was great because it was realistic. In the choice between her twin sister or her short-term girlfriend Ai made the 'right decision.' But this is a GL and I want to see Ai and May together. So it's going to be fun to see if they can pull off a happy ending for the finale episode
They don't have chemistry in the scenes, they don't understand each other to have a good role like Freenbecky.
apples and oranges. E and C had (or have) real chemistry that developed offscreen. outside of roles and series they were attracted to each other. FB on the other hand started with a script. and not to be that person, but TLP was very cringe.
A very biased note on Enfa and Charlotte's chemistry. The problem with their onscreen romances is that they don't capture the magic they have in real life for two reasons. 1) off screen E has been historically (not always!) the big flirt who can't hide her smile when the girl she likes is around and 2) C has usually been the picky princess who enjoys overt displays of affection.
But for some reason in all of their series (SML, LB, and Petrichor) E plays a lovable, if a little dorky, goof flirts like someone who's never been in a relationship. While C plays an aloof sass machine (yes I know she can be like that in real life and yes I know in LB she was much more energetic with E's character).
But I still think if they played into their off screen roles just a little bit their onscreen chemistry would be so much better. Mind you, this only applies to their banter, I think their onscreen chemistry is great when they drop the dialogue and lose themselves in the moment.
sigh…
