Yes, I don't like that part. But I blame that to the screen writer cause that didn't make sense. It was better executed in the novel cause XZ didn't have deep connection with FCY yet so he was not obligated to care for Lin'an and it's people. But in the drama there's affection and reliance between them so he should have at least left a few guards for FCY.

That scene was in the trailer and it doesn't happen in the real episodes yet. I think that was an imagination or a fantasy scene were Lin'an was not destroyed by SYQ and Yan Zheng did not leave.
