Tried the first episode and part of the 2nd episode because of the screenwriter's good track record and reputation but was turned off by the the female lead's role and acting.. liang jie's acting is always bitter everytime.. should i continue or not...
They have no plans for second part and although international reception is on good side the reception is so so in China because they are too familiar with the story and nitpick a lot, and there is no marketing budget for the drama...and like people discussed below now tencent wuxia budget is focused on remake of the 6 most popular Jin Yong novels.. they call it 'the jin yong universe'
Tried up to 5 episodes because of PXR but I don't feel the story and pace interesting enough, some shots and CGI look dated and the dubbing is a turn off. I can't get to FSF and the second lead look too pretty, is he from an idol group?
This drama is 6.4 in douban it's not too bad. the story got worse in second half which is a pity for the awesome revenge theme but it made Fei quite popular hehe
This is the best mini drama I've ever watched. The script, directing, music, are top notch they should give the director and scriptwriter a chance to direct and write normal mainstream dramas.The characters are layered and the storyline progress very well. the script for this mini drama is carefully written why does script of mainstream dramas always badly written?
This drama is so overrated, the have big budget with lots of publicity from iqiyi and good premise but storyline is messy. Li Qin picked the wrong character, and Allen Ren he's so popular and always get big dramas and promising characters but his acting is so lifeless, like a moving mannequin with no soul. His bad delivery didn't help with this, and together the two leads have zero chemistry.
I love the main couple, but this drama could've gotten a 9 from me if there was not so much of the annoying second couple..so irritating! i skipped a lot!
