This was a beautiful but sad story. What kind of pisses me off is the fact that Shane showed all this affection towards Jonathan but never dared to do anything about it and keep throwing the best friend card. Who sleeps with their best friend? Honestly, he couldn't even go to an event without Jonathan and he treats him like that. In reality, apart from the film, I believe that no matter what sexuality or beliefs one has, no one has the right to misuse someone else's feelings and make them feel that they are the problem for having those feelings. It is the same theory as going into someone's life, making them feel special and leaving them high and dry. Anyways back to the film, Carrie also knew about Jonathan's feelings for Shane but went ahead and got into a romantic relationship with him while remaining friends with Jonathan. That was kinda f****ed up. Not the greatest ending, I think that makes the story even more real, I think. People often strive for happy endings but in reality, nothing in life truly has a happy ending. Even life itself ends in death. It's worth watching tho, one of the few BL's out there that is real and raw (with emotions and realism) making it more relatable and believable ig.

My eyes turn super crooked when reading subtitles and watching action...but these subtitles got my eyes twitching I didn't know who was speaking most of the time, paragraphs really. One paragraph lasted 4 scenes after the talking was done. If the subtitles were better it would have been much easier to follow. Imagine having half the screen subtitles and the other half visuals. Wrong wrong wrong on so many levels :(
