I was just telling Lucid that I've been ditching some friends for two Saturdays in a row because of Wandee and they're not letting me off the hook today. So expect me late and tipsy commenting on the episode. 😁

Well, this is the Thai series page and my understanding is that we're watching the Thai version.

Yes, I saw that you edit it. Every time Thai companies adapt foreign reads, they specifically explain that they're adding Thai elements to reflect their culture (obviously) , yet there are always people surprised by that. And yes, I'll be harsh to anyone daring to bash on young actors, doesn't matter which country they are from. These comments are read and can have big impact on them.

I'm all in for criticism where it's due but going on a hate spree to prove your point is where I cannot stay quiet. And definitely not about one 19 and one 20 years old that have series such as Moonlight chicken and My school president under their sleeves. And these GMMTV/fandom bullshit excuses is what pisses me off the most. No, they're just that good. If you don't see it, move on.

The way Forth looks into Gem's eyes, I'm lost and gone. And their stage performance was the cutest thing ever!

Ah, the never ending comparison between adaptations...Thai series cannot catch a break, can they? After only two episodes, I'm pretty disappointed by the overwhelming amount of criticism this gets. And I wasn't going to say anything but bashing on Gem and Forth for their acting? Seriously? I haven't read the manga and I haven't watched the Japanese version but I watched them in enough series to see from a mile away that this is the way their characters are written for the Thai adaptation.

Gem, being the crazy kid in real life and now seeing his calm, chill character requires acting skills, guys! And Forth, just one look into Gem's eyes and you can shiver from their chemistry. They're so young yet they delivered some outstanding roles even before this. They definitely don't deserve the hate, not after 2 episodes. There I said it!

Dear santa, please give us that kiss and that punch so we can peacefully move on with our lives, finally! 😁

Right, that transition was smooth! And I think that Ming is clinging onto Joe's personality more than onto his looks.

One of the reasons why I like to read the comments is to see how people see Joe and Ming's characters differently. They're so complex that the opinions literally clash after every episode. As a no saint myself, I can relate to both in different aspects.

I also joke that Mingie is a bitch but at least he's an honest bitch, which is quite rare these days. He's not going around fooling Joe, he is just this kind of person. It looks like he's never been loved so he treats every affection towards him with an ownership, an obsession. I cannot blame him for that, he just doesn't know any better.

Joe, an orphan, who tries to make ends meet is sacrificing himself every opportunity he's given, again for love. This time, it's a motherly love. People who never struggled financially probably won't understand him but one thing that it's left in these situations is your dignity, therefore he will never borrow Sol or Wut's money.

Overall, the characters' writing is an absolute perfection in this novel/series. They live in two completely different worlds yet they somehow managed to meet.

I've been begging since the beginning of the series but it is what it is. Even though I don't read the spoiler tags, I still have 15 people blocked because of this series. I have an idea how this show might end but I really don't want to know now. Navigating through the comments and avoiding spoilers is harder than Joe avoiding Ming. 😁

Reading this at 7AM is definitely not what I was expecting on a Saturday morning, you know! 😁 But I'll have to agree. They should always keep it as raw as possible. But what always gets me is their facial expressions.

Nooo, i don't mean how he looks, I just keep forgetting that everyone's seeing Winner's body and when he pops out of nowhere in a mirror it catches me off guard.

He was late anyway! 😁 He should have handcuffed him, bang him and leave him naked on that couch.

It literally gives me the creeps when they show a mirror and it's Winner in it. Brrrrrrr
