super love this show and i'm glad i started it! they just dont make cute cheesy kdramas like this anymore and we need more of these back! i can't wait for the next episode!!
Yes not all long dramas are bad! I admit most of them had great casts and promising plot but got lost and draggy in the middle (e.g. Blow Breeze, Bravo My Life, Fates and Furies, and Rosy Lovers) so you have no choice but to drop/hold them, but some of them are really good and have complete awesome story line too that I've binged watch them! Giving them a shot is worth it.
Golden Rainbow, Smile You, Ojakgyo Brothers, May Queen, The Bridal Mask, The Nokdu Flower, and Hotel King are just some of my favorite long dramas that I can recommend to others!
I love episode 7 so much! I was squealing so much that Kei has finally realized that Aya is a good person! It could have been the perfect drama ending until they showed the preview for Ep 8! I hope they continue to release the last few episodes!! Can't wait!!
This drama is giving me a mix of emotions! One minute i'm laughing and the next i'm sobbing again. At this point, I don't really mind much whether the leads get back together or not as i have accepted the fact that Min Jung is a nice person, who earnestly worked hard to be a mother and a wife, she deserves to be happy as well. Also, her husband being wishy washy isn't helping anyone at all, so I hope he gets a grip of himself in the future episodes.
Everyone seems to be hurt in this drama, so my only wish now is for everyone to have a happy ending. If Yuri does not end up with Gang Hwa, I secretly hope she does with Pil Seung! I bet they'd be a cute bickering couple.
I totally agree with all the drama heroines you stated! I also did not finish these dramas for the exact same reasons as you did, except for Another Miss Oh. I really liked her acting and chemistry there with Eric, and also I think her character was justifiable.
I felt like the reason she was boy crazy and crying all the time is because she felt hurt and betrayed by the only guy who cherished her. Remember that she had low self esteem and had a huge complex toward the other Oh Hae Young back in high school right? Aside from that, she knew that she is as plain jane as she could get that is why she tried to fake herself into someone who is confident and funny when she's in front of others. So when another guy comes into her life and cared for her, she easily fell for him especially that they have the same scars. I also think that its just reasonable that she also wanted to feel special and cared about.
interesting adaptation! plus the main cast are very good looking! i'm currently at episode 5 and the storyline and flow is still going great. i just hope they wont be rushing everything at the end because its just only 10 episodes. btw super love the OST for this! makes me squeal and fall in love with the show even more!
The episodes just keep getting better and better so far! The suspense build up per episode is just so intense it makes you crave for more and want to watch the next episode right now! This drama makes me happy and sad, laughing and crying all at the same time! Everything is perfect! I just hate Cheol Kang so bad I want to kill him even in my sleep!
Is set in NK for real or is just an imitation of the country? I mean is like this NK? anyone knows?
They did not film in any scenes in North Korea because it was impossible for them. They also did not copy the places exactly like the ones found in North Korea but it is an imaginary place created to suit the romantic comedy storyline. According to the director some of the scenery of North Korea shown are just CG effects and some scenes such as the railway are shot in Mongolia, and the village is just created in a set. I hope this helps in answering your question :)
i know its just two episodes but i'm already hooked! hyun bin looks so good as a soldier and his character is just so cool, i want to keep watching this! and the scenarios are funny as to how north koreans use south korean products in discreet lmao.
