People seem to want to jump on the censorship train quick for some r@pe scene in a dream. While we are at it,…
I was worried about how it started but I thought it was very smart of the production team to show his internal thoughts and visually showing him getting on top of her as CONSENT. I mean, yes the tonic makes him weak, but he clearly moved on his own and he wanted it 😂
As much as I ship NQ&SS, I do agree that MSS would be consider to be prettier by most. But I think SS is adorable…
Yes, the casting director did a good job! MSS’ individual features are not super striking but as a whole, she is pretty (as described in the book). I think I saw a thumbnail of a cute scene between SS&NQ that I’m sure was not in the book, so it all works out haha. If they’re going to add more sweet scenes for non SS&NQ ships, then I would hope they just as much for SS&NQ! We will see soon :)
people keep saying that MSS is pretty but call SS ugly and I think MSS and SS look alike. I honestly hate actor…
As much as I ship NQ&SS, I do agree that MSS would be consider to be prettier by most. But I think SS is adorable and pretty :) It is quite upsetting when drama viewers ship two people just on looks. I think that’s why I like this drama so much. There’s a lot of love between our two MCs and I think their screen time together has great chemistry!
totally bummed right now....I read that for season 2, which has been confirmed, Arthur Cheng is leaving..so so…
While I too swore off not watching season 2, I think you should give it a shot still.
I didn’t have much expectations for this drama and it blew me away. This drama is great for many reasons outside of Arthur Chen (even though he does a great job). The director, sound crew, prop, costume, set design, and the amazing support cast are a large piece of why I feel like I’m watching a movie and not a drama. The lead actress and her character is the best and most refreshing deviation from your typical female lead. Song Yi Ren really steals the show and she was my least favorite going into the show.
I am willing to have faith that this amazing production with cast another equally good NQ. The director seems to be really involve in their acting as well, so I have high hopes.
LOL, apparently there are two camps among C-netizens: Team Sang Sang and Team Mo Shan Shan. I read on Douban,…
Lol that's hilarious. I think the foreshadowing is done really well and sometimes pretty blatantly by the author. Like as early as ch 10/11 that when NQ and SS looked at it each other, for NQ it was like an eternity and not a mere few seconds. That sentence was followed up with, once again, he lost against his handmaiden.
I actually think the author wrote MSS to deliberately be a Mary Sue--she's an overused character in novels and dramas. Beautiful girl, fair skinned, long black hair, who comes from a sheltered upbringing in a mostly female-dominated environment, has no idea on how to fight or argue and is suddenly saved in battle by a sharp-tongued and ill-mannered hero. He teaches her how to fight. They get stuck in a cave. Share life-death experience. How....game-changing haha.
MSS would've worked with NQ if he was your typical hero. But he's kind of an anti-hero in some ways and SS is not your typical c-drama/novel heroine. So that is why NQ&SS makes more sense.
Hi! Can someone spoil the novel ending for me? At this rate, novel translation will be done near the end of next…
DONT READ UNLESS YOU WANT SUPER SPOILERS!!
I tried looking for spoilers, but I don’t know how NQ gets SS love him again? Even so, what happens after they get disappear from the chessboard? The more details, the better! Thank you!!
