Just caught up on ep 5 and the things that i thought were skipped were included from ep 4 onward so it all made sense, but for san lai i remember he didn’t have a love interest, his character is mostly witty and discheveled but then towards the end he coeans up and looks good and goes on a date or something, in the very last few chapters when jiang mu and the boys separate and meet again over dinner (i think he gets married but his wife isn’t shown or mentioned much), there’s a love triangle though with jiangmu’s rich classmate, so i think they might have him and nana her female classmate as second lead couple ? Although this wasn’t in the novel
That’s fast what ??? Maybe 2 episodes per day ? But it’s sad that the story feels like it’s developing too fast (coming from someone who read the novel)
They changed many things from the novel which i wish they didn’t bc it feels like they’re skipping through details that make the story beautiful and the storyline’s speeding up now instead of building up, like jiangmu being there for tourism instead of repeating the year bc of her mother’s remarriage.. but i’m still loving it and really hooked, loving the atmosphere and color palette especially

Couldn’t stand the guy in prison trying to achieve the godfather type of persona with that irritating voice and all, lots of bits from the show made it seem cartoonish and it was hard for me to take it seriously at times (Though i do believe rich ppl that are THAT sinister and cartoonishly evil exist). Would’ve been better without the survivalgames arc, and the outro ost was annoying. Fact is Ji chang wook carried this whole show on his back, the action scenes, the emotions he poured in.. etc. The idea is nice and the beginning was so strong it instantly had me hooked.
