I completely agree

Seeing the ml being the dramatic scheming one while the fl is calm and strong with power and aura is so refreshing, and i love it ! i’m not exactly obsessed or glued to my screen while watching it but it’s still a really nice watch, great chemistry, great plot, great acting.

This is exactly how i felt, seeing many comments call it “the best modern cdrama” and “insanely good” had me quesyioning if i’ve watched too many cdramas that i’ve become numb to them .. this was close to a boring watch for me and when i said the ml wasn’t a greenflag high standard type etc they called me crazy .. their relationship felt awkward even and the chemistry unnatural, i loved jinmai’s acting though it felt realistic.

Dynamite kiss helped revive my kdrama slump but i only ever watch kdramas when i want psycho thrillers bc it’s their domain of expertise like price of confession or dear x

I’ve dropped every drama i picked up after speed and love no ml lives up to the standards that jin zhao set up on being a green flag, i already rewatched it 3times too 😭

She had a similar type of character for moonlight and i thought she did amazing in it the cuteness felt natural back then, but in her other dramas i really have to tolerate the cringe bc i love the plots and chemistry of most the dramas she’s been in.

Really tried loving this bc it started out interesting but it’s so boring after a few episodes, the plot could’ve been summed up into 20eps max although i love slowburn. The ml isn’t that much of a green flag he blames her for his accident, he makes her chase him and makes her pay for most things and trying to push that 50/50 bs agenda despite him having money, just overall nothing giving me butterflies and little to no chemistry althought they’re both gbeautiful (considering they described the ml as warmhearted in the synopsis) i get that the leads are very popular and that must be the reason it has 8.6 rating. But the drama itself is a nothing burger and disappointing.

Same thought here I really tried to love this but her acting keeps pulling me out of it, the nasal voice too. And though i love hou minghao’s acting the story isn’t interesting enough to hook me, plot is a little similar to back from the brink also with minghao in it.

First episode in and i’m not seeing zhang miaoyi anywhere this is boringggg, i’m not watching idk how many episodes of men chasing other men GIVE ME ZMY

I wish the editors didn’t cut off the kiss scenes in speed and love bc i watched fancams of their behind the scenes and the kissing was sooo intense and amazing chemistry off the charts, it would’ve been higher in this list if they kept more of it. Don’t get me started on the hand placement where she pulls him by the waist and his hand are all over her neck brushing her other cheek and chin. Just perfect

Yes, he crashes and disappears then meets her after a while to tell her to move abroad. After studying abroad she comes back looking for him but he completely moves away and can’t be found, but she finds the coffeeshop of her dreams she told him abt and starts going there and the dog starts following her, till she tricks the staff into calling the owner she finds out it’s him, he got his life back together and is back in college occasionally while also working in like advising car engineers or something, she suggests they go on a hike up the mountain and there she finds out he lost his leg, he tells her he’s useless now( i cried so hard during this), she lies and tells him she’s with a man but he treats her badly, so he decides to step up and be with her they go to his house a bunch of times he cooks for her , they do it, (she suggests to go on top so as to not burden him, he finds iut it’s her first time so he tells her no and gets on top to make it easy for her, i loooove how they navigate through this and everything tigether because now he requires her help with like showering etc and she’s like there’s no need to be embarrassed i want to accustom wto you) he then takes her to another apartment he owns which is provided by work it’s close to the building, and they also do it there like 2 or 3 times, san lai turns out to be his neighbor 😭. They go abroad to visit her mom and ask for her blessing, at first she gives him a room but ignores him on the dinner table etc but chris is nice to him then the mom finds her sitting on his lap etc and tells him to stop spoiling her, she first refuses the engagement gifts and on the second try she accepts them. Which means her blessing to marry her daughter. The enddd

She has a naturally high pitched voice actually i’ve seen her in variety shows with behind the scenes and that go on for days on trips, but since she’s also a singer she has to go lower and deeper sometimes and if she goes on for long it’ll hurt her vocal chords and her voice will be hoarse and crack, ariana has the same issue and ppl also be telling her to speak normally without knowing why.

As someone who has read the novel i can’t waiittttt for the older versions scenes i rllyyyy hope they include the spicy scenes where she’s in his apartment and san lai’s their neighbor lmao😭 actually i’m gonna reread it, bc this story just gets better
