The ending was ok for me. I was just expecting for a marriage proposal heheheThough i was confused why Jira didn't…
yes! was expecting more sweet and longer moments between the leads but plot got lost in the "business" part which overall made the ending underwhelming. it was still a nice watch with a good beginning, different type of storyline and good chemistry between the leads.
Such a heartwarming, nostalgic, beautiful depiction by the leads...the cinematography, dialogues, plus phenomenal acting and chemistry really put this adaptation at a high level....it also explore difficult themes that is so heart wrenching but super glad that the leads healed each other, endured and have a much deserved HE!! Truly a 10 and must watch!
This is actually not the typical rom com/ ridiculous idol cliché drama....its actually a surprisingly mature drama with young leads who heal each other and is an emotional journey with topics lightly explored such as mental health, social media, family, friendship etc. Romance is quite a slowburn but it's necessarily so as both leads mature, and the process of healing is full of ups and downs. I really teared with the FL and is impressed by her emotional range. I wish for a better ending for FL mum but perhaps for the story is supposed to be the catalyst for both leads to be close support to each other and with the connection that is encouraged through the super supportive mother. Love the CP pairing! They really have a natural chemistry and quite subtle intensity that is appropriate for the heavy theme of the drama. Love the ending proposal scene, really touching. Would highly recommend to watch but please do not expect fast pace "I fall in love with you and we end up together" sort of plot...
One of the rare C-drama that is not draggy despite the number of episodes....unexpected sweet chemistry BTW the main leads. Rewatch value is there, seems to be the best modern drama of 2024..I actually need to skip the side couples ;p
