A drama that captures your heart!
Speed and Love is a super addictive drama that pulled me in from the very first episode. Starring Yu Shuxin as Jiang Mu and He Yu as Jin Zhao, the story is about two people whose lives separated in childhood due to a divorce and unexpectedly collide again years later. And don't you worry guys, the two main characters, Jiang Mu and Jin Zhao aren't siblings. They have no relationship between them expect that they lived together for a few years in their early lives.
One of the drama’s biggest strengths is that the racing scenes are thrilling and visually striking, giving the show a strong sense of momentum. Jiang Mu and Jin Zhao’s chemistry is incredibly compelling. Jin Zhao’s every gaze toward Jiang Mu gave me butterflies because of He Yu’s specially impressive performance of how much he conveys through his eyes alone.
Visually, the drama is stunning. The cinematography gives the story a cinematic feel. The soundtracks perfectly complements the mood, and they were great songs as well. The pacing keeps the story engaging and makes it incredibly hard to stop watching once you start.
Overall, Speed and Love is a drama that leaves you wanting so much more. With only 29 episodes, it feels so less. I could watch 100 episodes of this story without getting tired of it. This drama has become my favourite cdrama ever, and I cannot get enough of it. I've read the novel a few years before this was released and im so happy it didn't follow the novels plot where he lost his leg :( I'll really be devastated if that were to happen. I truly hope Yu Shuxin and He Yu collaborate again in the future, whether in a historical or modern drama, because their chemistry is unforgettable. I'm going to rewatch the drama and reread the novel again!
