The only good thing about the show is how it showcased the beauty of the province. Everything else was terrible. Story is senseless, unrealistic and predictable.
I totally ship Uehara and Nao although I really liked Daichi from S1 too. But I see why Uehara and Nao totally…
I would agree. Natsume is not a perfectly nice guy. He's made his mistakes. But so did Uehara. They both made their mistakes and they both found ways to redeem themselves.
That said, I still don't like Nao XD she's the real terrible person here.
Nao is a terrible character =)) She should be the one ending up alone HAHAHA
And I need to comment on Saeko. I liked her better with her messy science lab look. And yes, she was terrible when she was drunk, but she was more interesting than Nao.
Honestly, watched because of Yuki :D but I did watch til the end. I loved seeing Yuki here because he finally got to show that he can play characters outside his usual smart, good-looking cold guy role. I loved seeing him happy, angry, and even desperate. Hard to imagine him ever having to act desperate.
*Bit of a spoiler here* It's not my favorite movie because...well, I did not like the heroine. Yes, her boyfriend was bratty, but she's not any more mature than him even if she's way older.
Honestly, I really enjoyed this. Maybe it helped that I have not read the manga and really don't know how things will go. Yuki was definitely the reason I tried watching it, but the story got me hooked enough to keep going. But I do understand why alot of people are frustrated: they are basically adults who deal with problems the way teenagers would - by not talking about it. But I feel like there's a reason why they didn't. That's why I felt like it's okay.
Reason to watch: Yuki <3 This might be the first time I saw him in a more happy role. I've only seen him play serious roles so far (itazura na kiss/erased/harassment game), so I'm pretty happy with this :D
Thriller has never been my genre, honestly. I get scared way too easily. But Furukawa Yuki was enough reason for me to attempt to watch it. I've not read the manga or watched any other adaptation, so I have nothing to compare it with, but I was definitely happy with this one. I loved how they focused on Satoru's character development. Both Yuki and Reo did well, if you ask me :>
Oh and I'm pleasantly surprised to see a cast that can speak pretty good English! I prefer Yuki's the most!
