Kang Ha Neul was the saving grace for me with this. I found it hard to get through. Dongbaek's character vacillating between weepy and strong. It was strange and became annoying. Her pushing away Yong Shik over and over when he was the greenest flag ever became frustrating. His character was just a warm fuzzy blanket. I just wanted to smack her upside the head and tell her to embrace and be thankful for this amazing person who loved and supported her so wholeheartedly. This was a lot darker than I thought it was going to be from preview that Netflix had on this didn't show the serial killer aspect of this and made it seem more like a single mother finding love again.
I really liked this. More even for the bigger picture here. More than BDSM the message that no matter what someone is into, that as long as it's between consenting adults, who cares? There is no need to judge other people. If you're not into it, move on with someone else. There is no need to tear someone else down or judge them just because you aren't into it. A nice story with a couple with great chemistry.
