You should watch it again to find out why it is such a low rating. How about they way it objectifies women?

I liked the drama it has some holes in the plot like most but then....The number one thing that will turn me off from a drama is "Rape scenes" this scene served no purpose what so ever. The drama appeared to be all about the men and objectified women. Why was he dumping "the love of his life" every chance he got? Had the writer spend a little more time developing the women it might have been a better plot. This seems to be a poor writers go to when they run out of original ideas. The second thing is miscarriages. I'm just saying!!!

I cannot get through the episodes it is so damn good I just keep rewinding. I Love these characters Ling Bu Yi and Cheng Shao Shang. Although I do not care much for the teacher character at all.

Does "The legend of Zhao Yao" have another name I cannot find it?

This is a "Slow Burn", but I absolutely love this drama, I just finished episode 18 and I cannot wait for the next one it is killing me.

If you have been watching closely she does not hate her, she really loves her but she does not understand what her daughter needs. Like many mothers she is trying to teach her based on what she knows only from a military point of view.

First, let us put this in perspective. This couple are not "Spring Chickens" waiting any longer to have children could be problematic for them. Second, your response seems a little tainted and shallow. Third, isn't having children a trend with what is called adult life (period).

I like her too but NO! I think the casting in the drama was spot on. Zhou Lusi cannot do everything. Sometimes over exposure it not a great thing.

He was sent away on a mission by order of the emperor out of town and there was a fight which we never really see. He is critically injured and in a coma. So he could not get to her right away. Now some of this was edited out and all of us have to fill in the gaps. But before he left he found out that his father killed her father. He sold one of his properties and left her money incase she needed help, which someone left by an open window. The money note fell down and was not found until later.

I am confused, when did they get married? Did they just sleep together and call it a day. Also at the end in court when they were looking for evidence why didn't she pull out the love charm. Did the writers forget they even included it in the script? I did like this but there were too many holes along the way.
