these days i've been focusing on the deeper meanings behind movies that could just be "sexy and fun", and this movie was so...intricately beautiful.
of course it was exciting in the regular way, but the way the characters treated each other was written with deep intention & attention to detail.
i do not personally condone the pain part of BDSM but the idea that you can safely be submissive as a man or dominant as a woman without losing your attractiveness or qualities needed for a becoming a great partner was beautifully portrayed here.
the actors did a splendid job and the scenes were well written out, in my opinion.
