I've only recently started watching dramas, so I don't know much about my tastes yet. I'll likely get pickier as I watch more.

As for my ratings, I take quality and overall enjoyment into account. That means a show that was messy, but that I loved watching, might get a ratings bump. It also means a show that bored me, but was well made, could get a ratings decrease. I try to keep a balance.
