Flourished Peony is my all time favourite cdrama so like I don't know what to do...and I can't watch them all because my life is a currently neverending loop of exams 😭I also don't get a summer vacation 😭😭

Exactly. I think its bc a lot of people want a cookie cutter relationship. But that would be boring to watch. The whole point of the show is the harem because she has to learn how to navigate it

China rates a lot of series extremely low though, especially on douban. Thats why i dont like looking at their ratings

Yes it does have that mini drama vibe which i wasn’t expecting tbh
Yes i like the darker political plot. Lets hope it doesnt lose its way. I also dislike the beaded curtain shots, they are so frequent and very distracting. The music is also randomly loud. A dream within a dream comes out tomorrow so its possibly i might swap over to that drama since i can only watch 1. If all else fails i'll watch joy of life s2 😂

Yeah, each episode is 40 minutes only when cdrama episodes are usually an hour long. I feel cheated lol.
I just watched ep 2 and its literally 35 minutes long, love it though
