yes it worth watching. it's entertaining and while the two wont kiss you can clearly see the love between them. but if you really want an adaption which follows the novel then it might be not your cup of tea. i would say look at this like a fanfiction or better and funnier as if post novel wwx telling this story lmfao but the wangxian chemistry is beautiful, we got some nice yunmeng siblings feelings which gives more to feel about them later and a perfect wwx and lwj ?? there's some hint a het romance stuff but not for wwx and lwj so i guess jiang cheng is taking one for the gays to protect wangxian lol 1-2 episode is present time and the flashback starts in the 3 ep :)
if you want the gay energy which is radiating through all the live action please read the novel but prepare yourself because wow it's different and their realtionship is different too a bit

okay so watching the first six episode, if you accept that this is no way is going to be similar to the novel it's fun time xiao zhan is a perfect wei ying and lan zhan is so young omg such a baby faced actor but love him, he's doing awesome resting bitch face
to be honest, it's a really slow burn and you don't really have them making out or other stuff but after they start talking to each other again somewhere around 48/49 episode or a few ep earlier u might start there, there's a kissing each other faces scene where and BIG SPOILERS
ning que saying he wants to marry sang sang somewhere around episode 50? but i have like 4 more episodes idk how much romantic this is gonna get it's more subtle in the first forty episode
can't wait to see all the senior brothers and sisters again and have them dote on ning que, best find family i have seen in a long time ever,,, i love them,,, gonna read the novel tho before this comes out so i can see that doting on junior bro is gonna happen

this drama is def nice to watch, just solving cases while we slowly getting more info of the main chara why she is here and what was going on idk how many years ago. and i just love the womens easy friendship like?? it's so nice to watch?? we dont get much of it but there's some small moments that i really appreciate
