On the other hand, I can think of recently I watched Vincenzo and fell head over heels over Taecyeon and loved or forgave every horrible thing he did in the show.
Thank you so much for writing this. I stopped half way through reading and went immediately to watch your LUST movie - A Frozen Flower. Oh my gosh, it was excellent. I won't give any spoilers, but it was unexpected and moving. I'll watch some of the others you have suggested because that one really was terrific. Thank you again!
Thank you for writing this, it was really entertaining. I really laughed out loud when you were talking about The Untamed. I love that drama and have watched it several times. When you mentioned how many names the lead characters have, I could totally relate. However, I just went with the flow and didn't get too caught up in that since I was enjoying the rest of the show so much. I agree that Chinese dramas have SO MANY episodes, sometimes it feels like a show takes forever. However, I found that Eternal Love: Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and The King's Woman were totally worth watching. Keep watching - no all are watchable. I admit I even skipped to the last episode on one, however, I am glad I didn't miss them. Korean dramas can get just as drawn out for me, even with 16 episodes. One of my all time favorite Korean historic dramas is Empress Ki - however that one has 51 episodes and EVERY SINGLE episode is worth it. Thanks again for a great article!
I love this article and I have to say the point I agree with most is the one of Ji Chang Wook in Empress Ki. I started off hating him and then I realized how many sides to him there were. I also agree that he needs more roles to show his true acting talent. I mean all this bad ass military/secret agent stuff is good, but wow...he has so much more going for him! Yes he's handsome, but he is more than a pretty face!
