But till now whenever Ji pd came up, Hyejin showed no interest towards him whatsoever, and she's way too much invested in Dusik, so let's hope they won't waste too much time in the love triangle, if there sadly is one.

I don't think it's because of the grandpa, he was in middle school at that time. Moreover, this trauma has some connection with the suit too, and the suit is his size.
And he studied at SNU, so the connection definitely starts from there.

As for his traumatic past, it's definitely not related to his grandfather or his parents. He basically confirmed that he had lived out of Gongjin before, studied at a good university, so he must have had a respectable job or something. I really hope his trauma is because of a friend, and not a lover as people are suggesting.
