true at first i also found that the mother focuses on her students more than her children... Then later on i just accepted it and thought of it as a drama. The story writer probably wanted to make a funny twist

YES Exactly. The execution of the show is messed up, i had so much high hopes. If you want to understand the story line then read the webtoon. its totally worth it.
I love the webtoon but i hate the kdrama adaptation. It feels super dry and boring. With the amazing plot of the webtoon i think it could have been much better and the show feels rushed too.
Many people recommended this drama so i tried to watch it but i cat get over ep 3. dont get me wrong i love the manwha and the actors as well especially Zhao Lusi (she is the only reason i even tried giving this drama a chance) but for me its just way too cringe because of that irritating aegyo voice that Zhao Lusi plays in the first few episodes. I dont know why but it just makes my blood boil and irritates me and i am not a big fan of the ML either. i am giving this show like a 4/10 .

It was exactly what i was looking and the actors did an outstanding job in showcasing their emotions. At first i didnt have many expectations for this drama i thought it was going to be another cringe bubbly highschool drama and only started it for the sake of choi se kyung but after watching the first 20 minutes i saw much more potential in it compared to my first impression. if u are wondering whether to watch it or not then i suggest to just give it a try and see for yourself whether you like it or not. Personally i loved this drama but there were some elements that were just too depressing for me. i am a type of person who enjoys more of a light theme dramas but everyone is different. this is just my opinion. i am not gonna explain the details in the dramas cuz i am lazy.
