to be honest I don't think Yoo Baek would even do that hehe. I rewatched the scene, I had an inclination that…
Yoo Baek is an actor, so he may have been putting on a "performance" for the reporter so that misinformation about him would be printed, and the tabloid could be discredited. I think he knew they would believe the worse about him with his bad boy persona. I think he was just playing into their bias of who they thought he was.
I loved everything about this drama except the flashback the reporter had of Yoo Baek in the stairwell on his phone directing a girl to have an abortion. I wish I could block it from being part of his character. I am going to pretend that part did not happen. I can not see a guy that would callously demand a girl to kill their baby be the same guy that would fall so quickly for innocent, naive Oh Kang Soon and let her set the physical limits of their relationship.
I found the best character was the lone little kid on the island. He was the best!
I cried so hard for Ma Dol. I totally felt his pain. I also cried for the grandma that received the diagnosis of dementia. That desperate feeling of knowing you will be a burden has to be mental torture.
Overall, a great show. Glad I watched during my stay at home period.
I suspect that the police man who had the cancer medicine and was at the 7/11 store to be working for Sia Ha. I think his brother is Sia Ha's right hand man and that he secretly has cancer. I also think the male spirit in white that visits Suam is her dead "real" father.
