okay, but that video they posted of enjoyjune with the kids who'll be playing the twins??? i literally can't stop watching 😭

they’re giving us more than other companies usually do with specials, so i’m trying to see it that way… my only question is whether they’ll drop them together. and honestly, we’ll probably have to pay for these episodes 🥲

if that’s how it turns out, honestly, it’d be perfect. when it comes to gl, a ‘special’ usually means a single episode, but i’m not completely ruling out the chance of getting more than one, just probably not a full season. based on the trailer though, it feels like they’ve already shown most of the novel. still, i’m hoping we get more than one episode.

now let’s pray they can manage to give us a decent storyline.

if you make it past the halfway point (you’ll get why), come back and tell me what you think. i’m really rooting for the direction and the writing to be stronger than denied love. enjoyjune are incredibly talented, they deserve a script that truly shows just how much they can do.

i tried reading the novel and stuck with it until about halfway before dropping it. i don’t think the real problem is the smut itself, but the complete lack of boundaries – the way harassment is framed as romance and how excessive the advances are. i did see the company’s statement saying they won’t go in that direction, and i really hope they don’t end up using most of the ‘plot.’

nothing confirmed yet, but probably just one.

i’m so excited for this special. we’ll probably only get one episode, but i’m still hoping for at least two.
