Dude I need every single thing Ung wears in this show. It’s all so comfy looking!
The cardigans especially - I need all of them!

This is one of the few dramas where I like and relate to all the characters, and they're also allowed to be flawed. Really solid writing so far (finished episode 10 today) and I just love Choi Woo-Shik.

Song and Yoo are super actors but to me, Yoo Ah-in is the best Korean actor today.
Yoo Ah-in is amazing! Definitely the best Korean actor for his age. We'll see if he ends up having as great a career as Song Kang-ho or Lee Byung-hun (who he's starring with in The Match). He always picks interesting projects.

Yoo Ah-in was great, but the show was SO boring. Bad writing!

Love Song Kang. Navillera is one of the best dramas I've seen in a while and he was lovely in it. Didn't like Love Alarm (bad writing and a poiintless Season 2). Nevertheless was also great; apparently the ratings weren't all that in Korea, but it's done super well on Netflix. With another drama coming up and increased popularity, he will continue to get good offers.

people are not contrarians. he isn't a very good actor but is put in everything these days so that allows more…
You seem woefully misinformed. Did you even watch the show? He spent months learning ballet in preparation for the show, and in many of the scenes you can clearly see that he is doing the moves himself. The more complex routines he had a double for, which is standard practice, whether it's fight choreo or dance. Not least because you don't want your lead actor to hurt himself.

He's also obviously an audience draw, certainly on Netflix. He's one of the few Korean tv actors to also break out with Western audiences. And he won the popularity award at the Asia Contents Awards this month.

Sorry but I see more people hyping him up than be contrarian about him. Tried to give him a solid shot and felt…
That's fair. It's like that with popular Western actors as well. There will always be naysayers. With a show like Navillera, which rests completely on his performance and that of Park In-hwan, it makes sense you wouldn't vibe with it if you didn't like him in it. Fortunately most people did!

Navillera is my favorite and Song Kang is great in it. At this point it feels like people just try to be contrarian about him because he's so popular. The show wouldn't work if his performance didn't, and it clearly does, hence the amazing scores here and on IMDb, as well as awards attention.

I would advise people to not be put off this show from some of the reviews on here. If you're looking for a mature and complex romance, where the characters are flawed and compelling, this is the show for you. The two leads are excellent and their chemistry palpable. It's not revolutionary, but it does what it does very well. The music is great and the cinematography beautiful. Recommended!
