Cha Woo Min is so adorable, but I actually like him more when he plays bullies or takes on bully-type roles. He…
I'm the opposite, I love him more in roles like this and Melo Movie. I didn't find him very believable as the big villain in Study Group (wdym he's the big dog at school he's just a baby). Buried Hearts was good too because he was cute for most of it then things took a turn 🫣
Probably not canceled. But there are many other possibilities, like: - Reshooting the actor's scenes with a new actor - Editing the actor's scenes to minimize his appearance in the drama - Delaying the drama's release until 2027 to get more clarity on the situation - Releasing the drama as is without any major edits, but exclude him from promo
Full cancellation is unlikely. Even Signal 2 looks like it will come out later this year.
Let the courts sort it out, I suppose. I wonder what will happen to Study Group 2. Depending on the size of his role, reshoots with a new actor might be feasible, or editing down his part of the story.
It's obvious that the average age on MDL is very low and most are teens.Just look at the kdramas they love over…
I think it's a genre thing far more than a "high school" thing. Many people on here don't like melodramas, and especially not realistic melodramas, and especially not realistic melodramas that depict complex relationships that differ from the fluffy happy ever after model.
So when you have a drama that offers angst and possibly with shades of infidelity or an open relationship/break for the main couple, a lot of people just aren't interested because they watch dramas to escape into a cotton candy fantasy world where nothing is painful or difficult.
Of course it's frustrating for those of us who do love these dramas, because the comment section is full of people announcing that they won't be watching (which, okay, good for you?)
Strangely someone has deleted the picture I uploaded several months ago where Ryu Jun-yeol confirmed his appearance (and tagged Hong Kyung) on his IG story, when they started filming in late June 🤔
Pretty sure it's not scheduling conflict maybe he had some incident with the director or something else..no one…
Yeah, I'm guessing either the director realized he wasn't a good fit and decided to recast, or the actor himself had some personal issue that necessitated his withdrawal.
So glad that agencies are standing up for their young actors. They are so vulnerable to public perceptions that…
It depends what the facts are, like how Ha Young's agency released a false statement first and had to release another. The agency will look stupid if the woman also has evidence.
Oh, it's over for him. Even his own fans are speaking out against him and his attitude now.
It's baffling to me that some young actors fail to understand how much they can gain from just being a nice person. Be friendly to other actors and staff on set. Be friendly to and appreciate your fans. That's how you cultivate a long, prosperous career as a rookie. Not by being an arrogant little shit 🤣
(And that's not even mentioning the allegations of domestic/animal abuse from his ex.)
Hon will wrap up in December, and the movie will start filming this month, from August until January 2027, so…
I'm guessing Hyunwook might wrap his scenes earlier than December on Hon, otherwise he'll be very busy. But yeah, maybe this will have to wait until the new year.
Filming will take place until January 2027. Then there is post-production (editing, VFX etc.) Then it's likely they'll try to premiere it at an international festival like Cannes, Venice or Toronto. And after that it will have its theatrical release. It's not uncommon for movies.
Main cast it seems: "It was confirmed on the 17th that Yoo Ah-in recently held a script reading with the main cast of 'Vampire,' including director Jang Jae-hyun and actors Lee Sung-min, Lee Joon-hyuk, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Choi Hyun-wook." (https://sports.khan.co.kr/article/202608171832003?pt=nv)
Looks like Hyunwook is doing the Vampire movie first before starting production on this. A movie shoot is shorter than a drama shoot, so they could still start this one before the end of the year. 🤞
