The only people "making everything about romance" are you guys in the comments. It's not a romance drama…
She is a fellow student and childhood friends with Bi-oh. Her “perfect hearing” will be a plot point in the rivalry between the two male leads. It would be odd if there were no other prominent characters in the school the two leads are attending.
After watching posters and trailers ,i wonder why fl doing herDirector and their obesseion with making everything…

Wow, you learned some Internet buzzwords to throw around. Impressive. Of course this "controversy" would not hurt his career as to every sensible person it was a total non-event. Outside the knetz bubble, normal people would not even get the "issue".
In fact, I actually find it more offensive how you're conflating someone voting in a preference poll with the actual serious problems with misogyny in Korea.
Such a non-story. He voted in a poll that showed up in his feed, giving a preference between two female idols. Why would he know any details about the specific account that posted it. Making him apologize was ridiculous.
Seven months since Kim Jae-won was confirmed and it was said to be "entering full-scale production" and no news. It does not seem like filming has started. Makes you wonder if this drama is cursed.
What’s on Netflix received confirmation from Netflix that Mousetrap will air next month, likely the 28th.
Netflix should confirm it publicly in the next few days as the overview for August will be posted. Their main focus for now, however, will be Our Sticky Love (Aug 7).
Okay this looks interesting but my only issue there is why not put the girl also in the poster? She’s a main…
This drama has two male leads, with a third actress rounding out the main cast. It’s normal for kdramas to have only the two first billed actors on the poster, and not the entire main cast. It's quite evident that Jang Gyuri has a smaller main role than the two leads.
It's like complaining that the East Palace main poster just has Nam Joohyuk and Roh Yoonseo. Yes, Cho Seungwoo is a main lead, but he is third billed and clearly secondary to them.
But Jang Gyuri might still be on later posters, maybe even the main one, and she will be at the press conference and they have released stills of her, so it's not like she's being ignored.
With a rumored December release, I wonder if Netflix will do some sort of WLGYT staggered release, releasing 5-6 episodes across four weeks. It seems a lot to be dropping all 22 episodes at once.
Han So Hee got an offer to play the female lead and is currently positively reviewing it, nothing is confirmed…
As far as I recall Park Ji-hoon’s agency responded that it was one of the projects he was considering. Unless there were more statements later, I did not see the “positively reviewing” line there. And all of these things that you say can affect casting, such as controversies, can also affect it after they have confirmed, so it seems moot.
I also preferred the old MDL practice where cast was added more quickly and then changed if needed. Now we have dramas in the middle of filming without any cast attached because their agencies haven’t “technically” confirmed them. Like Ryu Jun-yeol and Hong Kyung in Outback.

Nothing is technically publicly confirmed, but "positively reviewing" means yes 99% of the time and the screenwriter recently followed both NJH and Han So-hee on IG.
Because it was a massive ratings hit and the webtoon has plenty more to tell. No-brainer.
Unfortunately money talks. And SBS have been giving second seasons to most of their recent successful dramas, even ones that definitely didn't need it, and where they couldn't even get all of the main cast to return.
I will be seated for this one. Jung hae in always picks good scripts
He used to. But I thought both Love Next Door and Connect were poorly written. This also doesn't look like it'll be anything special, it's giving paint by numbers romcom to me.
I have feeling this drama gonna flop and get a low rating in Korea since Korea not like this kind of genre. Song…
Flopping on TV in Korea means nothing, to be fair. Some of the most popular dramas of the past years did not make waves in the ratings there. It has little bearing on a drama's reception and longevity. This is especially true for youth-oriented dramas (see True Beauty, Twinkling Watermelon, Lovely Runner and more which all barely averaged around 4% on tvN).
