Title Mousetrap
That's realistic (at least, in my opinion, it's more realistic than September 18). But what's the source?
Private insider account on X. Reliable, usually accurate info. But we also know Netflix can do last-minute changes.

Bae Hyun Sung is the first lead btw it's clear from the tving line up tho
From the synopsis it seems clear Cha Kang Yoon plays the protagonist (and the "Substitute" referred to in the drama's title) though. Which would make him first lead. So that's confusing. But if they are pretty equal co-leads maybe BHS got first billing due to seniority.

When such difference is rooted in misogyny or ageism there is absolutely cause for reproach.
Then those minds should be reminded that the rest of us live in the modern age and that they are free to enter the monastery if they so wish.

If Westerners cared more about acting and not the looks she would be one of the most popular actresses. She is…
Wild take when Hellbound and its international success was what gave her her breakthrough. Don't blame Westerners for Korea's entrenched misogyny and suffocating beauty standards.

You're not a "fetishist" if you look at this poster and feel like it's gay. Please be serious.
No, but you are if you’re angrily suggesting the drama is “queerbaiting” just because you misunderstood, and even more so if you think the depiction of close male friendship or bromance inherently is “queerbaiting”.

Hardly surprising that a drama called Four Hands (the duet of two people on the same piano) shows exactly that on the poster.

You are confusing tags with genres. The latter can’t be voted on and is included because of official write-ups/synopses from media articles. You can also see a picture uploaded of Song Kang’s character holding hands with FL.

Well it's not BL and it has romance listed as a genre. You should smell it already.

Hi-Five was filmed in 2021, before his controversy, and he was deleted from all promotional material including the poster, so no, it does not count as his official comeback in any capacity, no more so than The Match.

People are happy at the prospect of having Yoo Ah-in back. That is what matters to us, not what aspirations the company might have in this or that direction. Korea is obsessed with AI in general.

Yeah I don't know what more they want from him after serving his time in detention and spending three years in "self-reflection". Even last year, both of his delayed movies did really well in Korea. So clearly audiences are ready for his return.

The "female lead" is third billed. This drama centers around the close friendship and rivalry of the two male leads. Nothing about that is "queerbaiting".

Why do they have a 29 and 32 year old playing the two male high school rivals? I get that they look young, but…
It's the same in just about every high school drama. It's just how it is. Usually people have no issue with it if they like the drama (see Lovely Runner, for instance). And if the acting is good, even the Baeksang jury is on board (see Best Actress winner Kim Tae-ri in 2521). C'est la vie.
