Young versions of Song Kang and Kim So-hyun's characters have been cast. I imagine they will start production pretty soon, maybe once Song Kang has finished his Four Hands promotion commitments.
I'm not against potentially messy infidelity (assuming that's even what this is) but idk if I'm here for that…
It's not about cheating though as far as I can tell. Based on the info so far it seems like they'll agree on a break/seeing other people (Ho's "bold proposal") and that it will be about them finding each other again and what made them choose each other in the first place. That kind of second chance romance is a popular trope lately, and makes more sense to me from the synopsis than any kind of cheating narrative ending with ML and FL in relationships with SML/SFL.
It feels like people are making big leaps here and are already ready to dish out all the blame to either ML or FL, when it seems clear they are both intrigued by someone else (SML/SFL).
I have a bad feeling about this. ML and Fl have been in a relationship for 10 yrs and now ML feelings are now…
He likes these projects. He's said in the past he picks scripts based on what he personally responds to, not what he thinks might be popular. He prefers melodramas to romcoms.
Was excited but saw the tag, I am confused tag shows open relationship so it was from the start they were open…
MDL's plot-related tags are mostly guesswork until the drama actually airs.
The truth is we don't know to what extent there will be infidelity or what kind of agreement they might come to about their relationship when they decide to see other people.
The new teaser is JUICY. This looks so dramatic, especially the scenes in the rain. I love dramas about music prodigies because they're always so passionate (and extra) 🤣🤣
People were speculating before that this could be a terminal illness drama and that the cancer could return for the male lead (similar to Augustus Waters in The Fault in Our Stars who also had an amputated leg due to osteosarcoma). I doubted it, but with the real-life parallels now to a director who was battling lung cancer while filming, I have to say I'm curious about where this drama will go.
Now let's see what happens to her drama with Lee Je-hoon. The sensible thing would obviously be to finish filming the drama, but we will see. It wouldn't surprise me if punishing this actress for her shortcomings would take priority over the jobs of 100+ actors and production staff.
Poor Lee Je-hoon, having just suffered the same with Signal 2 (at least that had finished filming, even if the broadcast was delayed indefinitely), and before that in Taxi Driver. Such bad luck.
Some very odd people in the comments here thinking it's somehow specific to Korea that there were very bad people in the past who did very bad things. Maybe you're the ones who actually should read more history, because this is a thing all over the world with past wars/colonization/genocide.
But it is also generally agreed upon in modern, democratic societies that you should not blame or punish people for the actions made generations ago by people's ancestors. Especially if she didn't even know, which it seems she didn't based on the stories she had been told by her family.

Yeah, I wonder why 🤣

I don’t think he’d have any problem doing a queer drama had it not been for the judgment from media and delusional fan girls.
