I can already tell Ryu is a drama queen because who flees the country when they're confessed to 🤣
It seems the family dynamics will be a big part of this. Johan doesn't have parents, it's just him and his sister. While Ryu seems to have conservative parents who'd struggle to accept him as a queer man. But it looks like Johan will have his own issues, so it feels like it'll be them saving each other. 😭
Disney could release all the episodes of this simultaneously if they wanted to. (But they won't.) Netflix releases…
Presumably they do it because they think it gets them more subscribers, which is all they care about. Even Netflix is trying out other ways to release original kdramas, like they did with WLGYT (across four weeks), or when they split seasons in parts to release at different times.
I don't really care about promotions, at this point I just want to watch it. But it's not unusual for Netflix promotions to start late. Some of the rather successful dramas started promo same month as release. Trauma Code didn't even have a release date when the month started, neither did Weak Hero 2.
Sungcheol is busy with both theater and filming Sleeping Doctor, so it's good LKS was able to take it on, despite being billed lower than several others.
Wow, what a smash on Netflix! #1 in over 25 countries and top 10 in 78 countries and territories. The international fans love their Jinu and Taemoo, clearly. Ahn Hyoseop back with a romcom finally!
Really loved these two first episodes a lot. I'm already growing very fond of Mechoori the grumpy farmer whose heart will thaw soon enough. The bickering is so fun so I hope the leads don't get too close too quickly because I want to savor the enemies part of enemies to lovers just for a little while.
I really needed this kind of comfort watch and it's perfect for spring! Need next week to come soon.
He almost feels like an industry plant at this point. They're really pushing him hard. I thought he was quite underwhelming in Hierarchy, Tale of Lady Ok and even his small role in Trauma Code. Especially in Lady Ok he could not hold his own with the rest of the main cast at all, in my opinion.
If filming is starting next month already, I would imagine RJY and Hong Kyung have accepted, even if their agencies said they're still reviewing the offers. Hoping for confirmation soon, would be a great duo!
