I don't really understand this two-drama thing and with this just being 8 episodes. I have no interest in the other drama, so hopefully I can watch this without watching the other one without feeling lost.
It will be hard to gain back popularity... or his super fans are supporting him I guess. As someone with a natural…
Saying āthey were both basically kidsā when heās 12 (!) years older than her and 30 when she turned 18 is not a ānatural stanceā. Especially not since he was also very famous by then, creating a clear power imbalance between him and a vulnerable young actress.
Kim Sae-ron sent a strong message, choosing to end her life on this man's birthday.
When she was desperate and deep in debt to GoldMedalist, his agency, after her DUI, she was met with a cold shoulder. When she uploaded the picture of them on IG, clearly a cry for help, he released a statement questioning her motive and character, and offered no clarity to her on the debt recollection.
He said publicly that he never dated her. This, we know, was a lie, since he later had to admit to it. Conveniently, he denies dating her before she was 18. But we know he knew her when she was a child. We know he sent her letters when he was in the military and she was a minor. We know he, a famous top actor, dated her when she was 19 and he was 31, and recruited her to his agency. It's more than apparent that this was a textbook case of grooming, with a clear power imbalance at play.
It's no surprise the case didn't go to court, as the age of consent at the time in Korea was 13. So even if they could prove that they dated before she came of age, not much would really come from it. But to act like everything is fine when we know what we know is absurd. He has shown his true colors, and his fans are delusional if they think the lack of a court conviction is ultimately what matters.
KnockOff will be released next year, in 2027. The lineup of dramas scheduled for 2026 is already closed on Disney+.Get…
There is no confirmation of this, simply your speculation. The drama did not finish filming and would have to reconvene its high-profile cast to conclude the shoot first. There's no guarantee Disney will be able to do so (or will prioritize to do so) to release in 2027.
Do we really need to have a new article for every move this man makes, whether in the Philippines or Indonesia or elsewhere? I'm not seeing this kind of wall-to-wall coverage for anyone else. Curious.
I wonder how many episodes will be pre-time jump and how many will be after. I hope we get a lot of their friendship before they fall out and become rivals (and that they make up again!)
it's really disgusting to promote a pure straight drama as a bromance drama
Your statement makes no sense. Thats what bromance is. A focus on close, non-sexual male friendship. Which is what this drama is. Maybe the term is used differently in BL circles, but there is nothing inherently queer about bromance.
They look like they'll be part of a montage of their past together, rather than individual kissing scenes scattered throughout the drama. So they might all be in the first episode.
I'm surprised it's 10 episodes! Was totally expecting it to be 8 or even 6. Then again Netflix episodes can often be really short, sometimes just like 40 minutes if you subtract the time for end credits.
Looks like knetz are taking this as a chance to hate this man coz he doesn't fit their ideal standards for looks…
We all know that if he fit their beauty standards they'd find his shy, awkward appearance on that variety show endearing, cute and humble. Tale as old as time!
Me: Oh but wait, it's Korea, and she's a woman ... of course they can š« š«
