they said he still filming s2, does he still have the face to show up? How can he be so shameless and live a normal…
As long as Disney do not decide to halt filming, he has to show up or face penalties. Stopping filming would also mean hundreds of cast and staff would be without a job and lose their paycheck. KSH has put all of them in an awful situation by being an absolute monster.
S1 is done filming, S2 has a month or two left. It would be very expensive to recast and film all his scenes again,…
It's a very difficult decision for them because they've put a lot of money into it. Not releasing it would mean all that money was for nothing. But releasing it could lead to a huge backlash and make them lose both money and tarnish their reputation. I think they will start by postponing the release.
as expected from a zionist company https://x.com/KoreanUpdates/status/1899631278854750377?t=kWckikd2qSx_E-GslJUsVg&s=19
Well, good luck to them! /s. It would be a reputation disaster for Disney+ to promote and release this drama in the current environment. So let's see where we are in a month.
Is the filming already done? can't they replace him the other actors are going to suffer because of this guy I…
S1 is done filming, S2 has a month or two left. It would be very expensive to recast and film all his scenes again, since he's the main character. But if anyone could do it, it's Disney with their financial muscles. But they would need to find a big-name actor willing to do it, which could prove difficult. Many probably would not want to step into such a mess and "replace" KSH.
LOOK at this guys https://x.com/LepheloHam/status/1899745659428667469His agency is worse...
This doesn't surprise me. Also after Kim Sae-ron uploaded that photo with KSH last March, they made Lee Chae-min (also in Gold Medalist) reveal his girlfriend publicly a day or two later, likely to divert attention or in a trade with the media so they would stop writing about KSH.
They're likely not doing anything with this (poster/trailer etc.) before after Season 1 has dropped, which is on the 25th. So probably towards the end of the month and then a late April premiere.
I don't know why the rating is so high, this is just a cheesy soap opera
Are you new? Koreans (and many international fans) love their makjang. And I don't think "cheesy" is right at all. Sure, it's soapy. But it's also thrilling and fun and well-acted.
Waouh. The trailer is wild. It's either VERY misleading or they changed the focus of the story. I read the manhwa…
I don't think it's meant to be misleading as much as not wanting to give too much away. I mean, the very first scene in the trailer is Heesu finding the carrot juice that Seungwon left for him. But they can't spoil the actual confessing in a trailer, obviously. So they establish Heesu's story with him as the "dating advice guy", even though he himself struggles with letting his feelings out and dealing with his own crush. But still they tease the confession in the end.
My biggest issue with the trailer is that it's poorly put together. And that it doesn't even make clear that Heesu is gay is a disservice. But I'm not gonna judge a drama on a badly cut trailer. It seems pretty clear to me that we're getting Heesu's love story just as we want, and I don't mind that there's a secondary straight couple. They seem cute. I liked the Normal People reference.
That sounds like a you problem and your lack of sources. i have downloaded all the shows under u+ tv that are…
Well, they were gibberish to most of us, and so it was not worth watching the drama with them. But yeah, some "official" subs are really bad too. Most recently Gaga's subtitles for Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo which were clearly machine translated (and so much got lost in translation); thankfully iQIYI had proper official subs for that.
is it not more likely for them to just cancel the second season and put out the first quietly(as in no extensive…
The problem is that the drama isn’t really “two seasons”. It’s one 18-episode story split into two. So just releasing the first 9 episodes would essentially just be releasing half a story. They could still do this of course, to try and at least recoup some of the money, but it seems unlikely.
I’m guessing they will point to the other actors and hundreds of staffs and say they will finish filming of S2 to be considerate of all of them. And then they’ll postpone both seasons to 2026 or something in the hope that things quiet down or other things come to light. Which then could mean the drama will never see the light of day. But who knows.
There is no way Knock Off will be able to come out in April/May. But Disney are in a pickle, because the drama is still filming, with over a month left to go. Either they have to halt filming and can the whole thing (unlikely because money) or they'll have to push through with filming and postpone the release (more likely because money). But there's no way they can start promo this month in the current environment. Reshoots with another actor in the main role would also be too expensive and time-consuming.
(Obviously what happens to the drama is among the least important factors in this whole mess. The full truth must come out and KSH must face the consequences of his actions if this is how it looks.)
Probably bittersweet, which it's tagged as on Netflix. It's a drama rooted in realism, so there won't be a fluffy happy ever after ending, but probably more happy than sad, I would guess.
"Season 2 of the Wave series 'Weak Hero' is also set to premiere on Netflix next month."
New still cuts - this looks so bright and fun. Perfect for spring. 🫶
