Has Episode 4 disappeared from Viki for anyone else? It was there when i went to watch ep3 but by the time i finished ep4 had been removed and its not back yet and that was a few days ago

The drugging was bad and but still had notreal consequence. Dean didnt get hurt or cheat or do anything that results in an outcome from taking those drugs. He ALMOST kisses Arnold but oh wow suddenly the drugs have worn off and I remember who I am and who i love. Yes Raffy will use the incomplete footage to frame him but he didnt actually do anything so what could have been a complex story line about him being Non con drugged and left by his friends turns into an misunderstanding about a non kiss situation. So instead of Dean crying to Jack about what happened and Jack understanding because he also had some drug issues and them holding the people accountable it will all be about a non kiss.......it could be complex but they just shy away from any complex issues.

S1 - Friends not really being friends - Its not a bad observation but I took it more that lots of friend groups think they are ride or die for each other and then when it really comes down to it they arent. You dont know that until you are tested and when the bonds really started being stressed they all broke. Kind of reinforcing the title "Only Friends" not mega super soul mate best friends.....Only friends.

The Atom story line sent me apoplectic for days!!!!!!!!!! I was so mad but sadly that is shit that happens and people do react that way both the accuser and the people around them. So whilst i hated it with a fiery passion it also demonstrated the complex way people handle these kinds of things. I if was Boston that is when i would have said fuck this aresholes and walked away rather than trying to make amends but we never get that in a BL!

I totally agree the Atom storyline and the way they all reacted after he came clean sent me incandescent with rage but the sad reality is that is how people act in real life. They dont want to admit they were wrong or acted badly to a situation. As for slut shaming Botson....it was realistic of society and if it was a woman it would be way worse so whilst i hated it (BOSTON for LIFE!!!) it was not unexpected and would have been weirder if he hadnt been judged for it.

Dean on paper seems complex, I agree. He comes from a poor family and has had to work as a host to support his family and hide it from most people. His sister is in an abusive relationship that he cant get her out of. He badly wants to be a STAR. That is all great ground work for a complex character but none of those background points have actually led to any real issues in the show. He gets outed as a host and there is no real impact. He isnt kicked out of school, made to leave the play or even suffer the ire of his classmates for more than 2 minutes. He has to get a following to be a lead in the show so he just makes content with Arnold. No real issues except a tiny bit of jealously on Tua and Jack's part. Everything is only surface level and has no substantial impact on the character. Acting wise I do think Mix is carrying the entire show.

Mew was not my fav character in season 1 and i agree I found him the most shallowly written of all the characters but even so he is dealing with issues that actually impact him in the series. He is genuinely stuck between two men. His friend group is falling apart. He is betrayed by a person he is falling in love with and someone he considered a friend even if not a good one. They are all complex situations to navigate and they did so fully in season 1. In Season 2 every issue is explained and wrapped up withing a few minutes. There is no room for complex emotions and great acting if you are never allowed to explore any of the deep topics they are trying to attach to the characters. Jack lost his shit and had to go into rehab. They spent exactly 2 mins discussing that and it had zero impact on the characters, story or acting choices.

hey you do you and glad you like it but the characters are so one dimensional. The story telling is weak with no real substance and the acting is sub par. Even if you didnt like the mess and sex scenes in season 1 all the characters were deeply complex with real motives that made sense. And the acting was on point.

This show is so boring, shallow and disappointing. They should never have tied it to Only Friends. It suffers sooooo much in comparison.

Exactly and that is why I actually hate this series. I hate that they will give them a happy ending and people stuck in these types of relationships get hope that if they just stick it out through one more vile act they will also get a happy ending.

Y'all I LOVE a good red/black flag relationship but this series is making me incandescent with RAGE. In no world should Toh and Jimmy have a happy ending where they end up together. Every episode I am more and more disgusted by the thought of this having them end up together. I just want to SCREAM every episode

Sleeper Hit. Why is this show sooooooooo much better than I was expecting. I am so impressed with Ja. After the disaster that was Be Mine Superstar I was really ready to write off his acting but all the little choices he is making with his character and acting are really working for me.
