cxx's voice is much better than whatever it is
9/10 for ep1 and i'll keep watching untill the last ep

i think they made it like she is using korean accent to speak but just better than usual eu sound

hmm i'm not sure if you'll like it, but one of this cdrama, the ML's story is red flag [only in drama, he is a green flag irl]

1. the lament of autumn - republic drama [ML's story is red flag]
2. tiger sniff the rose - historical drama
3. love in red dust - historical drama
4. where the mask ends - historical drama

i don't watch any modern cdrama hehe

but personally, i'll recommend "Against The Current" for you
it's a historical drama, peak female centric drama and has a lot of positive reviews^^

i'll only watch this kdrama + 4 cdrama this month

i know this drama is not perfect, but i don't feel bad to give this 10/10 for zhou ye-xukai's chemistry alone hehe

she is so beautiful, and waching her on against the current somehow reminds me of haerin newjeans. they look alike imo hehe

i don't think that situation will happen to this drama since it's airing on CCTV/chinese tv. i think this drama will have same schedule like The Heir which aired on CCTV too. so it'll be stable 2 eps for each day, and express 3 days before the last ep.

i've watched 14/47 episodes and i can confidently say that this drama will end up as my #1 drama in 2026!

1. yess, the prince did it so he can beg his father/the emperor to protect his wife/let her live
2. she already did it before she died. she died because she drank poisonous drink and then her family's enemy got the blame so they got harsh punishment and died too. the only revenge left was against her stepmother, and she did it already right after she got into XH's body/early episodes. her stepmother is died now.
3. i don't think she has any revenge towards the 5th prince/her ex-husband. her only focus now are powers and protect her family/XH's family

i think through the 15-20s episodes, the FL will change her feeling towards the CP
and i think the CP really loves her, he coughs blood everytime she said she doesn't want to marry him 🤣
