According to the articles I read he said he was cured by the chruch during an interview. It's also known he's very close to the leader who's insane. He's a grown man, it's not rigth to continue blaming his parents when he keeps promoting it. If he's indeed brainwashed then it's a pity. Of course you can fake it. It is true that he is in a cult and they believe sickness and diseases are healed through exorcism through a priest. Bogum himself promoted them and is close to the leader. It's quite scary but that's just my opinion.

Well whatever happens I hope Win's character and Shancai's friend get together in this version too.
Fuck rumours say Daoming Si might be Bright and like, that boy is nothing like him. He could play Shan Cai's bff. And some fans say it might be BL. Rewatched it after reading the manga again and came to the conclusion that due the fact ximen and xiao you actually get a chance in this version it outsold both the jp drama and the source material. That wrap up was unnecessary and a huge let down.
Edit: Poor Meizou, he deserved better and that's a lot of wasted screentime for nothing could've focused on Ximen and xiao you.

Yeah it definitely feels like a plothole, I expected smth to come out of it like seeing Jungwon jealous and act on his feelings? It's weird since it basically had no relevance whatsover and could easily been replaced.
