strong start, weak finish
WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU!!!
Story 8/10 : The moment this came out, I was HOOKED. I think the first 6 episodes are incredibly strong and had me hoping to days would go by faster so I could watch the next few episodes! This is really up my alley. Student teacher, obsessive/yearning, darker themes, interesting characters, all around this started out SO strong. The build up of the plot and the chemistry between all the characters was great, it really was building up to something climatic/special. But WOW the ending was disappointing. Without spoiling anything, there were way too many loose ends, characters not reaching a satisfying character arc, conversations repeating them same thing over and over again, the last two episodes were a complete mess in my opinion.
Acting/Cast 10/10: I will say, the actors were all incredible. Aesthetically everyone in this show is beautiful (as is common with k-dramas lol), and everyone acted very well! I have no complaints about any of the cast, I think they all did a great job.
Music 8/10: I like the opening theme and the background music consistently created a good mood. Nothing distracting or ill-fitting.
Rewatch Value 7/10: I can't really see myself watching this again, maybe would recommend to friends? But they'd need to come out with a second season cuz wow what a terrible ending.
Overall 8/10: Overall, immeasurably disappointed BUT grateful for the first six episodes which honestly are some of my favorite KBL episodes I've watching in a while.
**Spice Level 4/10: Yeah there's really nothing here to worry about, there are some things that are alluded too, but overall characters really don't do anything over the PG-13 level.
