These are different characters. The events of SH insisting they're not a family and HJ telling JW to apologize have nothing to do with whether the Chinese characters would do that. SH is clearly upset because he doesn't want to be family with JW in this way, and HJ is extra sensitive to reading the room and doesn't want to cause problems.

The Chinese version was a pacing nightmare, it was *not* a masterpiece. What would be the point of a remake if it's exactly like the original, but with Korean actors?

This drama is everything I could have ever wanted in a drama and more... I honestly cannot wait another day

I couldn't take it anymore either- one more episode and I would have thrown my computer out a window. I can't handle my emotions after that one!!
