Before long ballad, before GeSun, before Leo, I’ve heard from many, many, many people how shitty and horrible tencent is. The way they treat their actors is truly disgusting and unethical. If it doesn’t go their way, how they want it, than the actors basically get blacklisted from them. I know it’s all business at the end of the day but really, your actors are whats bringing you the money, so why treat them like they’re a nobody and can’t be anywhere without you? That type of business is a BAD business. ALL actors and actresses should be treated fairly, tencent don’t deserve them, I’m sorry but I do agree with @Dragnelia, tencent shouldn’t be in business, but they will and they will continue to be powerful and will continue to treat their actors as if they are disposable, because that’s exactly what Capitalist companies do. Everyone is disposable.

I can’t agree to this more. Maybe that’s why I’m so in love with it because of that reason “tropes we usually see in C-drama, like backstabbing best friends, love triangles, obsessive exes etc”...it’s so refreshing and different to finally see something new and powerful, such as the love between a male and female, love better father/son, uncle/ niece, sister love, friendship and so on and on. There’s been many times in the drama where I’m like, oh that person is gonna turn evil or that person will but long behold they surprised all of us. I love that so much, and would love it if cdramas can showcase that more.

I cringe at that part...poor Changge, she was in so much pain. I was like ASun, you could have been more gentle, and now even a forehead scratch he can’t handle it LOL. It really shows his progression of falling in love with Changge.

I think it was one of the recent tencent interview where they said they were sending each other gifs all the time. They stop filming a year ago, but still texting each other?!

Whole heartedly agreed they are male and female version of each other! If they stay good friends, I’ll be happy, if they ever do end up together, I will die...
