I think this is where the sloppy writings comes into place...where things starts to not make a whole lot of sense. In later episodes it explain that he took the fault for killing that guy so Changge doesn’t get in trouble since they were trying to frame her. But it still doesn’t make sense why he took the fault. They’re both so smart but this is what the came up with? It doesn’t even make sense why they even arrested Ashile sun, over some unimportant kid? Literally the whole imperial guardscame to arrest him over some kid. I think this where people started complaining things seems rushed and characters actions seems out of place for them. And Changge, like she’s so smart, how did she just follow a random kid into the wood with no backup plan whatsoever??

And Mimi’s death had me :’( she frustrated me a lot in the precious episode but ultimately her heart and loyalty is alway with Changge. My advice to you when watching episode 49 is don’t be drinking water because you may spit it out watching a “certain scene”

I really want them to do another collab too. I actually not a fan of modern drama so I really hope they will collab in another historical drama. I love historical dramas. Maybe one where Leo gets to show off more of his fighting skills. He’s so good in the LB but I realized how little there was in LB :(
