From how Noway explained it to me is that in China second lead CP fans are lot more active on social media and kinda created their own forum and makes a lot of funny gifs and meme that gets trending a lot on weibo. Main leads CP are not as active to promote their CP. but that they are still very popular and more so as individual actors rather than CP. But internationally the main lead CP is more popular.
