Holy shit, I just looked at ZLY upcoming films and she literally has a full schedule! 3 movies and 2 tv shows in 2018. So her chances of doing season two is very slim and if she does agree than the production team would have to wait at least a year for her, that means we won't get to see season two for at least two years. (Which I am totally okay with) but money talks and they are probably not willing to wait that long for her. :(

oh LGX did a beautiful, wonderful job in the scene!! no doubt! He broke my heart with telling her to leave, I think the more talk about ZLY acting is because she has not shown this type of emotions towards YY since he beginning of the drama, and its a shocker for all of us to see this from her.

yep, you're right, that's exactly what they did. And from my understanding many sequels for c-drama almost never have the same cast, and I just dont understand why they do that? Like we've grown attach to the characters and actors that play them, and they just go and change the cast. I was actually very shocked that the legend of chusen 2 had ALL the original cast in it. That does not happen very often.

well I was hoping that season two was a rumor and that they would wrap everything up for us in this drama. But they didn't :(

That's where I don't think the director even made it clear. I know that in the novel she was in love with YX, and she hated YY, it wasn't until YY fell in the lake and died, was when she realized how much she loved him, and wonder if all those time when she hated him, it was actually love and not hate. But the drama went in a different direction and I have no clue what they were trying to show in the drama.

YES! YES! YES! I feel like same way!! I am just at lost wtf the director was thinking when he ended this drama?? Like I just don't get it? Like to leave an impact on the audience because you just fucken pist a shit ton of people off?? What's the point of pisting people off?? And if you wanna leave people pist off than at least give them something to hold onto like an announcement of season 2 with all the same cast. But they absolutely did not wrap anything up, season 2 is just a rumored, and even the cast said they weren't contracted for a second season, ZLY doesn't want to come back to season two, and LGX won't do season two without ZLY. Like did they not planned this out at all? They just decided to make a drama that makes no sense at the end?

Also Xinger feelings for YY through out this drama has been so bipolar, and as an audience it was so frustrating to watch, and although at the end I know she loves him, but it felt like it came from out of nowhere. Like why all of a sudden she cared so much about him when she didn't give two shit about him through out the drama?

If they could off omitted that whole part with the Princess Liang and the pen pal shit, and make Yan Xun escape from Wei shorter, they could have easily wrapped this up nicely for us. I seriously just dont understand. Now I am left with disappointment, anger, and a broken heart.
