I promise you there’s no love triangle. The dude she’s suppose to marry in the novel is actually bi sexual and likes mofung. Idk how they’re going to portray his character here in the drama as we know boy lovers is banned in China. It will be interesting to see what they do with his character. And no he will not turn villain. At least he wasn’t on the novel.

I read the novel a couple of years of ago so I have a better understanding of why he’s acting like that, but for people who haven’t I feel bad cuz everyone is annoyed with him. Poor guy lol. He will get better as the story progress. Him himself doesn’t even understand why he’s having all these feelings, and acting this way. he never had these feelings before.

After re- reading some chapters and discussing with one of my friend who’s currently reading the novel right now. Everyone who’s been annoyed with XZ, just hang on tight. Very soon it will be explained why he’s been acting that way with SL. It’s actually really sad, I forgot what a sad life he has 😢

I actually miss chicken shen li. She was hilarious.

She’s only a chicken for episode 1 and 2 and than back to her human form in episode 3

Shen Li always knew in her heart, I think she just wanted him to confirm it. But even after he does, she still won’t accept it. My poor girl.

None of that! It’s a really cute love romance story between the two leads. Now there will be angst but not in a way you think. It is a slow romance. Ive been reading the comments and some are concerned cuz they don’t know what the plot is yet. Honestly I read the novel like two years ago, and it’s not gonna be some big grand scheme plot people are expecting. It’s just literally them trying to prevent bad people from harming the Devine and immortal realm. But their romance and love is what engages me. So cute and sweet. I hope you will enjoy it!
