I really want to watch this but it's restricted on viki ..is there any other option ??
Tell me if you find it somewhere! I actually want to watch this one. I hate when they sub it on Viki because it usually gets deleted later. I feel bad for the people who subbed it because it seems like a waste of their time.
I'm very surprised by how low rated this lakorn is. It's actually pretty good and not over the top like lakorns usually are. I think that Kim and James do have chemistry.
I love that this lakorn is about Kim's character bettering herself. I was so happy when she started to become friends with the other maids. I love when they all support each other.
I know people are tired of Kim playing the snotty, bratty character but I say if it isn't broke don't fix it. She probably feels most comfortable in this role or these are the roles that she is offered most often.
Hands down, the best thing about this drama is the couple. I'll definitely miss the way Min Hyuk looks at Bong Soon and the way Bong Soon smiles at him.
I caught up with all of the episodes and I must say... these characters are annoying as fuck. Lol! As each episode went by I started disliking the characters more and more. I only like Han Gyul and Jin Hyuk. Jin Hyuk might be an asshole but at least to a certain extent he is honest about his ways.
And it annoys me how much everyone is blaming Han Gyul for everything. I mean every little thing is his fault and he doesn't even do anything. I cannot stand Chan Yeong. He's insecure and blames Han Gyul for him not getting a shot. All I'm thinking to myself is write and produce better music. He whines and complains about everything and never blames the right person. His jealousy is out of control.
And So Rim has been pushing it lately too. Lol! I don't hate her but I'm tired of seeing her cry. I want to get mad at her for being immature and then I have to realize that she is still in High School but sometimes she seems younger than that.
I find it interesting that Healer is on here because I've always interpreted it as an extremely popular and…
She's not talking about it's popularity or how much everyone loved the drama (Lol! And a lot of people love this drama), but about how good the drama is objectively speaking. Still, I personally don't think Healer is bad though even speaking in objective terms.
The simple fact that I loved all of these dramas up here with the exception of My Amazing Boyfriend (Haven't watched) made me laugh. Lol! I was actually surprised to see High School King of Savvy up here because I think objectively speaking, the plot is not bad at all and the characters are really good here. I do think the female lead is a bit off putting at first but I never thought she alone brought the whole drama down.
I don't agree with Healer being on this list. Though I'm not the biggest fan of makjang, I never felt that it ever brought the story down. I actually thought it added more stakes and emotions for the characters. The personal attachments really made you want to root for the main characters.
I was really angry with the scenarist on how Gyeong Shim was abducted in ep 12; I mean you were almost abducted…
Lmao! This was me the whole episode. I didn't know who to be more pissed off with. The cops or her friend. Last episode I got scared when I saw her walking by herself too. I'm like I would not even walk by myself in broad daylight especially since I know he has not been caught. I think the police officers are idiots. They were so obvious following him. All I was thinking to myself is the criminal is not going to go after Gook Do's ex girlfriend anymore since your covering her every movement.
I'm really over here crying off your comment! Lol!
I do see some flaws in the show but somehow it really doesn't affect my enjoyment one bit.
Honestly, that is another criticism I don't get. Maybe it's because I have seen other dramas before where the two leads don't kiss until the end of the drama, but I don't think it takes away from the progression of the couple.
Physically they have not made progress but are we really surprised by that? Bong Soon just recently realized that Min Hyuk was not gay. Min Hyuk liking her is obvious to the viewer but not so obvious to her. Especially since up until episode 9, she really has only had eyes for Gook Doo. It wasn't until he got stabbed for her that she started to look at him differently and appreciate him more.
I'm just happy he confessed because for a second I was going to be pissed. Lol! But now that she is aware that Min Hyuk likes her, she probably won't think about Gook Doo as much because she still thinks he does not think of her that way.
I think the confession was progress enough especially because Min Hyuk is aware that she in love with Gook Doo. I think he is giving her time to come to term with her own feelings.
By the way, sorry for the paragraphs. As you can see I love to talk about dramas. Lol

I agree with you. I'm actually surprised that people are surprised by Episode 10. It does not seem any different from the rest of the episodes we've had before. This drama has always focused more on having humorous scenes that makes the viewers laugh than scenes that actually move the plot forward. I enjoy this drama a lot and it's the one that I look forward to the most, but I will say that I noticed that this drama suffers from a lot of tonal problems.
On paper, the idea of a badass female lead with super strength and kidnapping plotline sounds perfect together. You would think it would work seamlessly. But the problem is that from the beginning, this drama has always taken the more comedic route than the serious one. Sometimes, it just does not transition well throughout the episodes. That's why sometimes I wish that they would add more of a comedic element to the kidnapping plotline because sometimes it can be quite jarring.
This drama will always take the more comedic route though and in taking that route you are going to get 50% of scenes that are there to make you laugh, 35% of scenes that will focus on the romance between the two leads, and then 15% of the scenes will focus on the kidnapping plot line. And I hate to say this but that 50% is mostly going to be scenes that do not push the plot forward. Those scenes are just there to make you laugh.
But since I'm mostly here to laugh and look at Park Hyung Shik, the drama having problems does not bother me as much.
This is actually one of my favorite Taiwanese dramas. I thought they did a really good job with this one. I was going to give it a 10 because I thought the story and the characters were strong. However, I did think it dragged a little by the end especially when it hit around the episode 20 mark.
Such a classic and good drama with 7.9 rating?? LOL this deserves at least 8.5. Seems like dramalist ratings are…
Lol! I gave this drama a 10. But it was one of the first dramas I watched and so I loved it. I probably have seen this over 10 times already now. I never mind going back to watch this, but I will admit that it has some problems. It has its own share of flaws and it is very dated.
But I still love it, so even though I see the things that I did not notice before I can't rate it any lower.
A lot of great moments in this episode. I thought Hyung Shik did such a great job in his reaction when he heard his brother's voice on the clip. It was perfect. Really showed his acting chops.
Of course Park Bo Young did an amazing job as always. I really felt her pain when she gets upset with her mom. I know her mom seems really mean and she is, but I kind of see why she's hard on her at times. I think she just doesn't want Bong Soon to end up in the same situation she did. She does not want her to lose her powers and end up with a bad life. I think she needs to learn that treating Bong Soon so harshly is not going to make her stronger though.
I also loved the moment between Bong Soon, her mother, and her grandmother.
