Title Plerng Boon Spoiler
It turned into a horror film in those last few episodes. The abuse Jai Rerng was facing was scary and the scenes…
Yeah, I mean sex.

While watching the first half, I couldn't understand why the rating was so low. The relationship between the leads was sweet, and they had nice chemistry. But the moment the plotline switches, it immediately became clear to me why the rating is so low. The second half of this lakorn is filled with nothing but foolishness. It's hard to even care about the story any more or the romance between the leads. Everything was so contrived and nonsensical that it wasn't even fun or entertaining. If you watch, I suggest jumping ship during the second half to save yourself the trouble.

Title Wiman Sai Spoiler
On the one hand, I appreciated this lakorn for being speedy. It got straight to the point, and that was its strong suit in the first episode that fooled me into thinking I would be watching a good lakorn. On the other hand, I hated everything else.

Panin's family was a disease. Panin, Yoh, and their father put Ris through hell. It was frustrating watching her be mistreated by three delusional assholes. Yoh seemed like a nice guy, but he was really just an idiot forcing his feelings on Ris.

Panin and Ris spent one day together, and Panin acted like they spent a lifetime together. It was comical hearing him always bring up the time they shared as if that time couldn't be summed up in less than 24 hours. You raped her, you asshole! Stop speaking about it like it was some amazing romantic night. I think that was my biggest problem with the set-up. There isn't enough time that shows Ris and Panin together before everything goes wrong. So, it's unbelievable to me that Ris would fall in love with Panin, who caused her nothing but problems.

The first episode was okay, but then all of the characters start to make some of the dumbest decisions. I thought it was really stupid for Ris to accept Yoh's offer to be the child's father, considering that she knew it was his brother's baby. I thought it was equally stupid that Panin wasn't honest with his brother. I didn't care for his excuses about caring for his brother's feelings because it was clear to me that if he actually cared about Yoh's feelings that he would have never raped Ris. Once that happened, Panin should have been a man and told Yoh the truth no matter how much it hurt his brother's feelings.

And then we had the father who had to be one of the worst fathers I've seen in a lakorn recently. He should have been the one to die. I couldn't believe he was so cruel, especially to his own family members. It took a bunch of people dying for him to realize he was wrong. And I hated Ris's best friend and her stupid haircut. All she did was run her big mouth and cause trouble for Ris. She was so freaking annoying.

I wish I could have liked this because I like Bee and Chakrit, but I couldn't believe in the romance at all, which is a shame. In the first episode, when they spent that day together, they had so much chemistry. But they only have that short amount of time together before they misunderstand one another, and the next thing you know he's raping her, and she's pregnant, and this happens in the span of a few episodes. Considering the problems Panin brings to Ris's life along with his father taking her child from her, I just couldn't believe that she would fall in love with him.

Overall, I enjoyed this lakorn, though I was disappointed by the last two episodes that poorly resolved everything. It was annoying watching everyone expect Tawan to forgive Pol so easily, considering he had never done anything worthy of her forgiveness. Pol put Tawan through hell since the moment they met, and she had given him many chances to be a better person (or at least act like an adult), and every time, he chose to act like a child. I thought it was even more irritating when Non had questioned Tawan’s choice of keeping the baby a secret from Pol when Pol showed that he did not care about Tawan’s health, which nearly cost her to lose the baby in the first place. I absolutely loved that moment when Non asks her if she pities Pol, and she replies that she pities herself. I really felt for her at that moment because it seemed that everyone around her was pushing her to reconcile with Pol, ignoring her wishes.

I thought Tawan’s choice made sense for her mental health and her baby’s survival, considering that all Pol was doing was putting people through hell, seeing what happened with his father. I couldn’t even be invested in them getting back together because I didn’t think they did a good job with Pol’s redemption story. We’re just supposed to believe he’s changed because time has passed and he’s grown a beard.

Honestly, they should have added more episodes to focus on Pol’s redemption and the Pum and Nit relationship. What a waste. Earlier on, we saw some sparks, but they chose not to give them much focus until the last minute, which was stupid. I think they would have been more interesting than Non and Pat. And I was disappointed that Pol’s mother got off unscathed, considering all the trouble she caused. She never had to answer for not truly caring about Pol and being the terrible parent all along.

Until those last few episodes, I enjoyed every bit of it. Pimmy and Boom have a lot of chemistry together, and I really liked the Tawan character, and though it was frustrating to watch her in those last few episodes, I could not blame her for not giving into Pol. Like I wrote before, we’re just supposed to believe that Pol’s a better person because time has passed. There’s no other indication that Pol has grown and matured. In the beginning, Tawan was wary of being with Pol, and he tore her walls down, promising to love her, and the moment they got married, he treated her like shit-- assaulting her, sexually abusing her, attempting to ruin her career, and more. And even when he finds out about the baby, you would think he would end the feud with her mother for the sake of his wife’s mental health since she’s pregnant, but of course, he can’t even do that.

If we’re being honest, Pol did not deserve Tawan at all. I just really wished we could have seen Pol really learn from his mistakes, so I could like their relationship as much as I liked it in the beginning.

Title So Wayree
I had high hopes, silly me. Till episode 9th , there was some story momentum. After 9th episode, I am only following…
I thought I was the only one who noticed that. It's very strange. It's like she should be looking at the male lead but instead, her eyes are angled somewhere else. I've seen Mookda in four of her lakorns, and she has done this every single time. I've gotten used to it now and usually brush it off because I like her work, but sometimes, it's very distracting and hard to ignore.

Title Khanueng Ha Spoiler
This was good, and I felt like it had the potential to be great, but it fell short. And though I can't remember the remake too well because I watched it years ago, I do remember the issues I had with it and those issues are here as well. The first problem is that the set-up doesn't make any sense. I never understood the point in bringing in a fake girlfriend and making the grandmother fall in love with her when eventually, you'll have to bring the real girlfriend into the fold. If they remake this again, Lek and Deunchai should look very similar so it can make sense as to why they are passing off Lek as Deunchai.

The second problem is Poom being a player. Though I will say that luckily, compared to the remake, this version of Poom is less of a player and it's more tolerable. In the remake, I felt that though their relationship was cute, by the end of it, I didn't believe that Poom loved Lek at all. I felt like if he came across another girl, he would either cheat or supposedly fall in love again. With this version, I actually believed that Poom did love Lek and that he would stay true to his word by not being with other women. If I can remember correctly (could be wrong), in the remake, Poom was flat out cheating on Deunchai, whereas here, Poom just has wandering eyes.

Though Poom's mother was annoying, I disliked Lek's father more. He was a complete idiot and just plain annoying. He didn't have a mind of his own and was always relying on the Aunt's opinion rather than his own or his daughter's. By the end of it, he's still opposing the relationship but doesn't even understand why he's doing it, and I was confused as well. The aunt was clearly trying to sell Lek to a rich man, and Poom's family was rich, probably richer than the guy they wanted her to marry, so I couldn't understand why they were against it at the end other than just being annoying.

Overall, it was enjoyable, but I don't see myself hitting the replay button ever.

This is the second time I've seen an actor choose not to renew their contract with Channel 7. Either way, it's going to be interesting to see Bow paired up with Channel 3 actors.

I watched this when it was first airing, but stopped halfway through, and I'm glad I did because I got to avoid that terrible original ending, and watched the alternative ending instead. I don't know why every time they have a story about a wife moving on from their cheating husband that they never let them get their happy ending. They either end up with their cheating husband again or alone, so I'm not surprised at all that they killed Pong in the original ending. It was unnecessary.
Of course, the alternative ending is somewhat unbelievable. Like, who would put their pregnant wife through that type of emotional distress? But I understand that they probably didn't have enough of a budget to completely redo it over again.
With that said, I really enjoyed this overall. I thought Arisa and Pong were really cute together, and I believed in their love for each other. The fake kisses were annoying because they were VERY obvious. I also thought it was stupid to do fake kisses in the first place when you have this type of steamy subject. I really enjoyed the first twenty episodes or so, but I did think that it went over the top in those last few episodes. But besides that, I overall had a good time, and I could see myself watching this again for the scenes with Arisa and Pong. And I'm glad that in the alternative ending, they got their happy ending.

They look great together, and the tone looks dark. I'm interested in seeing James in something more challenging. And, I think Gina is a good actress.

I have all of the episodes on my old laptop. If you want, I can upload them on Filefactory for you. As for if it's worth the watch, it isn't one of my favorites, but I do remember the leads having amazing chemistry, and I liked the male lead a lot.

Wait a minute...Anne's comeback... is with James. I'm baffled and excited.
Though I'm still skeptical, they look good together in their fitting photos. It's also good that Anne still looks youthful, though James does have a baby face. I'm definitely looking forward to this. Hopefully, James can keep up with Anne.

Title Tawan Arb Dao Spoiler
I was surprised by the things Wat had done because his mother and Korn made him seem like a saint. Hell, even…
Now that I think about it, their relationship came off as more sexual than romantic. Most of the time, Chorprae thought of Wat in lustful ways rather than romantic. There are a few scenes here and there that suggest she loved him, but they're nothing compared to the scenes where she daydreams about him sexually. And I agree that their relationship was not healthy, considering the ways it had started. I do think her fixation on Wat, the reason she clung to him even after he (Korn) mistreated her, was because Chorprae was lonely and didn't have anyone. She only had Wat, which makes it sadder when you realize he had been using her in the beginning.

This definitely comes down to execution, and had their storyline been executed properly, the relationship between them would be clearer, and the funeral scene would have more of an emotional payoff. At times, I wanted to see more of the past between Chorprae and Wat, but because their relationship is supposed to be a mystery, we rarely get to see it explored. And even when we're told by other characters about their relationship, as the audience, we're not sure if we can trust that person's word. I definitely think they missed out on an opportunity to explore that relationship and that in them focusing on the mystery, they neglected everything else, including Dao and Korn's relationship that remained stagnant throughout the middle. It's a shame because when Wat's real character was revealed, it made me really interested in his story to know what he had really been thinking in regards to Pim, May, and Chorprae.

Title Tawan Arb Dao Spoiler
Is it weird that I feel more sympathetic for Pim than I do for Wat? In a really weird way I understand her feelings,…
I was surprised by the things Wat had done because his mother and Korn made him seem like a saint. Hell, even Korn was baffled when he learned how greedy his brother had been. I felt like they had made Wat a grey character on purpose, not to make us sympathize with him, but to make Korn biased in his pursuit of his brother's killer. He wanted to believe Wat was innocent, and whenever Mek would hint that his brother had done something wrong, Korn would get extremely upset and dismiss the idea completely. It just shows being a good person is subjective. Though Wat was a shitty boyfriend, he seemed to be a great son and brother. With that being said, though I didn't necessarily sympathize with Pim because she had taken it way too far, I totally understood her anger. When Pim's first mentioned, it seemed like Wat had broken up with her because of the lie May had told, but now knowing his character, he probably used that as an excuse to be with May because she had money.

And you totally explained why I had a problem with the Pim reveal. I was conflicted because the writers had clearly set it up from the beginning, and yet it still made me roll my eyes. The set up is there, but the reveal feels random and tacked on at the end because they never really mention Pim after bringing her up the first time.

As for Chorprae and Wat, I always thought they loved each other. Though Chorprae seems like a selfish bitch, she took a bullet for him. And despite how badly *Wat* was treating her, she clung to the idea that he had lost his memory and seemed to be waiting for him to get it back. As for Wat, the simple fact he refused to give the tape showed that he had fallen for her even if initially he hadn't been. Otherwise, I'm sure Dao's uncle would have mentioned that the reason Wat refused to give the tape was because he wanted a bigger payday.

For me, it was quite refreshing to see all of them die. I'm so used to seeing forgiveness handed easily, that…
Lmao! I was sure the last episode was going to be filled with romance too and a small wrap up of Dao's uncle going to prison, but instead of spicing up the romance, the writers pulled every melodramatic trick out the bag.
