Another silly chinese drama, drop it after watching ep 1
If you want to watch something serious, try Winter Begonia. I like this drama right away. There were silly characters like Xie Xie and the cousin but they were not clingy characters. Xie Xao was silly but he didn't do any evil stuff to the ML or FL. He even helped them fighting bad guys.
