If you want to watch something serious, try Winter Begonia. I like this drama right away. There were silly characters like Xie Xie and the cousin but they were not clingy characters. Xie Xao was silly but he didn't do any evil stuff to the ML or FL. He even helped them fighting bad guys.

I think the drama tied all the crime cases nicely to each other. All of these crimes were done by Yan Sin Fan becasue the Yan's family has high power. I don't understand why people said this drama is silly but like more silly dramas like Dr. Cutie and Romance of Hua Rong
